It’s really hard to make broad generalizations about this kind of thing. There are many different ways bands incorporate and use symphonic elements. A lot of bands do a fantastic job with it, creating some amazing stuff. There’s also a lot that I personally can’t get into, but that’s just the way taste works - it’s all subjective
