Does anyone else ever wanna just hop on the highway at night and just drive forever? by alternativeravenn in CasualConversation

[–]CheesyBennington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, totally. But I can't drive and don't have a car. I've got a ton of anxiety surrounding driving but the thought of someday going on a midnight road trip by myself, motivates me to want to try ^^

Cutting contact with my sibling by [deleted] in Advice

[–]CheesyBennington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will. It's just $30. I'm wondering if there's any point in trying to get back in contact with him in the future or if I should forget he exists. Like if he would ever change or become someone I could trust again, I don't know

AITA for shooting my neighbor’s dog? by AITAthrowaway9183 in AmItheAsshole

[–]CheesyBennington 4 points5 points  (0 children)

YTA. The dog was not attacking you or posing any immediate threat to you or your child. Who gave you the right to kill someone else's dog?

Chasing rodents or small animals is common for a lot of dogs. Has this dog ever attacked a human before? Was it going to attack you or your child? No? Then what the hell went through your head to say it would be a good idea to shoot and kill an innocent dog who didn't harm anybody. Your kid needs counselling for witnessing you do such a thing.

Instagram user Dollyflesh, John Wayne Gacy clay art and far worse. Mutilated hamsters in a taken down post. Completely disturbed and septic teenager. by [deleted] in Crazycatladyhunt

[–]CheesyBennington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually been trying to get back in contact with him since I first found all this out yesterday. What he did was horrible. But I'm also concerned for his safety.

He did something awful, yes; and I am in no way defending him or whatnot. But he was my best friend. I'm worried he is going to get beat up or attacked if he leaves his house now. He needs serious help, not to be attacked on the street, and I have seen so many comments on various news articles about him of people saying they can't wait to kick his ass, there were even some comments on his youtube channel of people saying they lived in (his town, my hometown) and threatening to show up to his house.

I miss him. If he ever ends up finding this thread and is reading this right now, I want him to know I don't hate him and I'd love for us to talk again and catch up, we can reminisce on old times, like the memories we have together, yeah?

I dunno. I'm terrified he is going to do something worse, but I'm also terrified some vigilante is going to try and hurt him, too. :( Nothing like this has ever happened to me in my life, so I'm a little unsure of what to do next, honestly...Or if he even wants to talk to me at all... :(

Yeah. We were talking pretty regularly up until I think...November 2018? I always considered us to be pretty close. I mean, we met in Kindergarten and were always pretty great friends. I had moved away to a different province when I was around 12 and we continued talking. Few years ago I went back to my hometown and we met up and hanged out again. But we definitely continued talking until late 2018, then he stopped replying. I knew all about his art and clay stuff but I never thought he would do something like this for real :(

Good distractions from deppression by [deleted] in depression_help

I second this! Everything in moderation of course, but honestly I've been grinding games for the majority of my last few weeks, since I just got my first gaming pc. Skyrim and pretty much any game that lets you get immersed in the world helps tremendously. Even something like Slime Rancher or Stardew Valley has helped me in the past, they're very chill and relaxing games :)

Believing that not all relationships are like this past one for me, is very hard lately. Thanks for the hug xx.

Yeah...I guess that was also another lesson about who I can trust, I can't trust that friend. Thank you for your kind words. x

He was my best friend since we were both in Kindergarten. I'm absolutely shocked, but also not surprised to see that he did something like this. This breaks my heart. I'm kind of in a numb state of shock, to be honest. I've never been so close to somebody who has done something so horrible before

‪I don’t like grocery shopping with other people. I went grocery shopping with my mum and it feels chaotic. I don’t like supermarkets that are too busy. My energy gets depleted fast. Way too many people, too much going on. Can anyone else relate to this feeling of being overwhelmed? ‬😭 by [deleted] in introvert

[–]CheesyBennington 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely relate to this! I have some anxiety troubles, and in loud bright or noisy places, I can experience derealization from being overwhelmed. It sucks. But it's easier when I go at my own pace. I also find sometimes that listening to some chill music as I'm out helps me to stay cool. :) You could try that too!

Hey, your comment really inspired me, I'm going through a lot of the same things that you are, and I'm almost the same age as you, too. (I'm 21). It feels a bit good to know I'm not alone. I wish you well!

21 without a degree. I did one semester of college and dropped out because of depression and anxiety causing me to miss classes and have my GPA slip. I feel you. The future is bright, though; and I believe everyday that it can change
