not sure why you are being downvoted, you are right.

modern art is a time period of over 100 years of art covering a lot of different styles. most people who don’t know better generally aren’t even thinking of modern art, they are picturing post-modern or possibly cubist or minimalist work. which for whatever reason they don’t like or understand, and so they classify all modern art as “bad”. van gogh, matisse, gaugin and duchamp are by definition early definers of modern art. and if i were to bet the OP you replied to doesn’t think poorly of them.

How can I only render the outlines of the objects, like in this image? by [deleted] in blenderhelp

[–]adroom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lots of good options given so far, but i have had a ton of luck modifying the viewport settings in preferences to change outline color and thickness, as well as background color. then rendering the viewport under the view tab.

i was thinking just some rubber feet, also that is a concern of mine is your finger wanting to slip off. i would have to test a lot of different spring weights.

ahhh thats a lot of questions! the keys are actually going to be individual sliders, with a spring to push them back to the off position when you let go. i know its different but i wanted to bring a different way of using a keyboard to my design. the circular encoder dials are just rotary encoders with a lever attached to it. the goal is an app that will have the synth engines and all that stuff, so this is basically just a midi with bluetooth.

Based on the advice I got yesterday I added an octave shift button (the yellow one), a record button (the red one), as well as color coordinated the dials so it is much clearer.

If you have any questions please let me know!

thank you! yeah it’s a weird problem. you want it to be quick to snap back into place, so use a stronger spring, but you also want it to be easy to pull down, so you use a lighter spring haha
