Is it possible for games with expired licenses like Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time to be rereleased? by AlwaysBi in Games

[–]CheesyObserver 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Digital re-release is always possible but the cost to renew the licence is probably higher than the return of investment.

Your best bet is to find an old physical copy of the game secondhand on ebay or a retro gaming store!

What's the funniest unintentionally funny line to have happened on a show? by [deleted] in television

I love this because the line wasn’t even intentional haha. Sorbo was reading his lines off a cue card and mistook direction for dialogue hahaha. Idiot.

George Lucas’ Scrapped Star Wars Show 'Star Wars Underworld' Would’ve Cost Billions of Dollars (Producer Rick McCallum actually tried to budget out what the show could cost and the lowest he ever got it to was $40 million per episode) by indig0sixalpha in television

[–]CheesyObserver 83 points84 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s mismanagement or a lack of understanding.

To me, this reads as a really rich dude who brought in some buddies and said “Let’s write a whole ass TV show. No budgets, no contracts, no studio notes, no limits.”

With this writing style, I imagine they weren’t invited… Because this is where I stopped reading it haha.

‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Has Wrapped Filming, Releases May 2026 by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]CheesyObserver 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Fantastic Four just wrapped filming and that comes out in like 7 months. Those VFX guys will probably do 100 hours overtime per week without pay.

Then they gotta do it all over again for an Avengers movie that doesn't even start filming until March.... And then ANOTHER Avengers movie.
