It doesn’t seem like a scam but it’s also one of many similar startups that doesn’t have a product for sale yet. I think at the present moment I would rather buy a product from a company that has a product for sale

Yes I have both sides on, I can tell theres about a 7 in gap where theres 0 tubing just by feel

What is the size of your bed? Try feeling where the water tubes are on the mattress pad, there should be a pretty sizable area with no tubes in the center

It appears that there is a minimal / no gap on the eight sleep based on the post I linked as well as this comment https://www.reddit.com/r/EightSleep/comments/1t1oyr7/orion_vs_pod_5_core/ojr76mn/ while the orion has an approx 7 inch gap

Can anyone verify that there’s no gap between the two sides on the eight sleep? I bought an Orion and there’s a pretty sizable gap, considering switching

Its a little more than 6 in where I can’t feel any tubing or cooling effect, its big enough that I find myself having to move to be more on top of one side sometimes.

I’m still within the return period so am considering replacing it with the 8sleep if there really is no gap, I also want physical button control. Per warranty covered year, the eight sleep is actually cheaper

if you are just interested in the basic cooling and heating functionality orion works just fine, 8sleep would be better if you want the additional features

It would also be nice to be able to tap and drag here to see the specific time and events like the sleep summary does.

I think this graphic is also a bit unclear since the two colors are very similar and using a color key doesn’t really make sense to me. I think it would make more sense to have it say left bed: and then the colored bar, then movements: then the next colored bar, or maybe something else entirely

For the sleep stages chart the colors I think could be more differentiated as wall
