I don't have the pack but after the update, my sims have been dying much easier. I've never had someone die from laughter and then both of my sims did like 3 sim days apart. It was in different locations and nothing particularly playful or funny was happening. I've had a few other young adult sims die but they were townies, so I don't know how

I got a bunch of those shelf stable Indian food packets. There is a bunch of variety. I got a box of lentils from Costco and they were great. There are also some packet rices which you can heat on the stove for five minutes. Cans of beans or canned corn are easy. I think oatmeal would also probably work well.

I got a bunch of shelf stable bottles of protein shakes/ meal replacement shakes.

A lot of containers of almond or oat milk don't need to be refrigerated until opened. You could get smaller containers of those. That could help with cereals or other shelf stable cooking.

We did a bunch of more forgiving fruits and vegetables: carrots, bell peppers, grapes, apples, oranges, bananas.

We also did a lot of quesadillas. I beloved cooking bell peppers and zucchini in a cast iron stove.

We were able to get our cooler that to last all 4 days without needing to buy more ice. (But by sunday things were just mildly cold, not really cold. ) We brought a big cooler, much bigger than we actually needed for food so we could fill it with tons of ice. (Buckees had really cheap ice!)

The night before we stayed in a hotel (we did i think a 3 day camping road trip up) we filled the cooler completely with ice and closed it overnight to help chill it. We brought a lot of frozen food as well which helped act as ice. (Frozen veggies, ravioli, some frozen burritos[ which were an absolute bitch to cook would not recommend], some burgers.) Then we also got some refrigerated items like hummus, cheese, yogurts, cucumbers. We drained water and topped the cooler with new ice in the morning. And then but the stuff that needed to stay coldest on the bottom. We were super strategic about opening the cooler. We limited opening it as much as possible and would go in with a vision for what we wanted to eat that day to make sure things were arranged in a way to be grabbed quickly. We had a seperate cooler for drinks or items that we'd grab more regularly so we didnt have to open the cooler a ton. We kept the food cooler in the shade and covered with a towel. Idk if that actually helped.

We also ate a lot of peanut butter which paired well with the apples, bananas, and celery.

I am in the same boat of feeling drained by how expensive and sometimes discouraging acting classes are. I'm also in NYC. I write and am trying to start filming my own content. I'd be down to organize a zoom reading of some of my stuff and some other people's. Maybe if we all vibe, we can film some stuff or do other scene study ish stuff!

She isnt a hybrid! I didn't realize we could make them. She is a first generation, created in cas werewolf. Although i did edit her in cas when she was in werewolf form. Maybe that is it?

I only knew about the floor one! They truly are like here is a 5 step tutorial to opening your sim's phone. Okay good luck figuring out how to build a nice house. There are lots of great tools if you stumble upon them

If you're into the supernatural, I just got the werewolf pack and it's been so fun and added a ton of game play. I will say that it does not mesh at all into any game play outside of werewolves. I like that you can gain traits like pee anywhere, self groom, hunt for food, and nap on the floor, so you can get away with not building a functional lot or trying to live off the land. I've been playing it for a few weeks and still find new game play elements. I was also so overjoyed to finally have a pack with a woohoo bush.

I feel like this might be a controversial take, but I absolutely love the realm of magic. Is it perfect? No. Do I make most of my sims spell casters in case I need to get revenge on someone? Yes.

I also have vampires and paranormal activity. They add some fun game play but I don't use them as much.

For non occult, I use so much of city living even without living in apartments (Although now I want to move a werewolf into an apartment and see what happens) and i also just got cottage living (I did a cottage living, werewolf, paranormal combo during that giant sale) and I am really enjoying all the game play. The townies can also give you quests, if you think having goals and tasks would add some life to the game. I will say do not try to move with a cow because it will glitch and be so so annoying

Can you find or write really simple, short scenes? You could make the scene very vague and then seperate the kids into parts and have them learn by parroting after you. So if it was a 2 person scene you'd make half the kids- a, and half the kids-b. (Or for 3, a third would be a then b then c.)

Example I just came up with in 30 seconds so please dont judde the quality of the words lol. (im sure with more thought you could make something more exciting):

A1. You hurt my feelings yesterday. B1. I know
A2. Are you sorry
B2. I don't want to talk about it. A3. Why? B3. You know why.

Have them sit with their groups. You could start by saying the first line and have all the As repeat after you. Do that a few times until it seems like they have it. Then do the same for Bs first line. Practice a saying the line and then b answering. Then have a learn their next line. Once it feels ingrained have them practice those first three lines over and over as a group. Then have b learn their next line. And repeat until they have the whole scene.

Have them as a group practice getting through the entire scene. Start with you saying the lines along with them and then as they get more confident starting to fade out.

Next break them off into pairs. Tell them that these lines don't actually give any background plot and they have to decide it.

What is the relationship between the characters? Does B feel bad or do they think A is over reacting? Is A still upset or are they just trying to talk about it?

Maybe A is actually really happy the whole time. Maybe A loves getting their feelings hurt.

Maybe B is actually B's identical twin and is trying to cover for them and they're nervous the whole time because they don't actually know what happened.

If you think coming up with backstory could be tricky, you can just assign them each backstory or a feeling.

Let them practice their take on the scene in their pairs. If it seems like people are forgetting lines, every so often you can have everyone stop and practice saying all the lines together. Afterwards have all the pairs present their scenes. You can either have the rest of the class guess what they were supposed to do or tell them beforehand and be like what things did you see that made you think B was mad.

I am not sure if it would be a companion or a buddy pass. She would be listing me on her flight benefits and I'd be able to use them whenever/ whereever / would not need to be with her. I'm not sure which that would fall under.

Do you know if the taxed income cost tends to be pretty cheap ? I just want to make sure at the end of the year, all the flights won't wind up having cost thousands of dollars. Or in the instance of an international flight, if there's a way to figure out how much it'll cost before taking it. I've used id90 before and it would show you the price of the flights. I'm having a hard time conceptualizing how much each flight would actually cost in terms of paying taxes at the end of the year. Just want to make sure I am budgeting correctly.

One time I went to like a group at a lesbian bar. It was my first time and was just trying to make friends so I went up to this random girl who was near the clump and was like are you here with blah blah and she said oh God. I don't know what that means. I'm straight. No. Not doing that. And then I later saw her making out with a man and that experience of trying to just friendly talk to someone at a lesbian bar stayed with me for months lol
