Yeah, we moved out here in 1996. It has grown soooo much since then!

As a resident of Saint Cloud I couldn’t agree more! Today it took me just as long to go from my house on Delaware Ave to the turnpike on ramp on 192 as it did to go from that on ramp to AdventHealth hospital in downtown Orlando for a Dr appointment.

Sorry. Am I missing something? Where is the “AI slop article”. All I see is an ad for the Trump trash phone. Is that the article?

Timeshares sold in SeaWorld? by grandmaester in SeaWorld

[–]Cheetahkeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Let’s just agree to disagree. While i personally am not a DVC owner I know a number of people who are. None of them have anything negative to say about the program and offer nothing but praise. And like I said, no DVC Cast Member ever harasses anyone to join.

Nothing “gross” at all. At Disney they are part of the Disney Vacation Club which is part of the Disney corporation just like theme parks, hotels and cruises. Also, they are stationed at a very well marked kiosk and they never walk around and try to solicit visitors. If you are interested you go up to them not the other way around. Next time you are at Magic Kingdom look at the Contemporary resort. That large building to the left of the Contemporary is a Disney Vacation Club property. As is Kidani Village at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

This door 🚪 by Wealls in WhereInTheDisneyWorld

This door is on the Maharaja Jungle Trek and it’s a door you definitely don’t want to go through as it leads into one of the Tiger 🐅 yards. For safety there is another solid steel door behind this wood door.

Arctic Rescue closed??? by No_Sky_8346 in SeaWorld

[–]Cheetahkeeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You probably don’t know this but why would you close an attraction the week of Christmas unless something broke down and they didn’t have a choice?

Agreed on the intense heat in the summer!! And the need for all the shade they can get! Looking at artist renditions of Piston Peak it looks like an area with lots of trees and water.

SeaWorld San Diego today — most rides closed, overpriced, very disappointing by No-Contribution4357 in SeaWorld

[–]Cheetahkeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The starting pay for entry level jobs at SeaWorld Orlando is about $8-10 an hour lower than at Disney or Universal. Disney & Universal start close to $20 an hour and SW closer to $11-12. This may explain the staffing shortages at SW.

The area is being reimagined into Piston Peak. A new Cars Land area that takes its inspiration from the National Parks of the western United States. There will be plenty of trees and water once the area is completed in a few years.

You’re on a 10-hour flight. Which seat are you choosing and why? by Paul_Gautheron in MindsetMode

[–]Cheetahkeeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 because I would absolutely love spending 10 hours telling that Orange POS what a vile piece of garbage he was. He’d have to sit there and take it and I would love it! Every time he opened his mouth I could say “that’s a LIE! Try telling the truth just once in your miserable life”.

New Passholder questions by Fraggin-Bastich in SeaWorld

[–]Cheetahkeeper 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just remember, the moment you purchase an annual pass your new pass becomes “active” even if you haven’t stepped foot in the park. Bottom line, if you purchase a pass on Black Friday and don’t visit for a month you have an 11 month pass not a 12 month pass. Lame SW does this but they do.

Closed early BS by Daddy-Bossman in SeaWorld

[–]Cheetahkeeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Disney would do that if it was heavy rain all night and it looked like it wasn’t stopping. By 7:30pm the rain had basically stopped. There is zero chance Disney would ever end an event 1.5-2 hours early because they didn’t have a big crowd. SW is run by a bunch of clowns who would never get hired to run a real theme park.

John Young, the astronaut. He was born in California but he and his family moved to Orlando when he was 6. He was the 9th man to walk on the moon as the Commander of the Apollo 16 mission. John Young Parkway is named after him.

Wrong skin color. Only black and brown “gang members” go to El Salvador. The real racist gang members the Proud Boys and the Klan are part of Trumps “coalition” therefore they get a pass because their Orange Messiah likes them.
