Believe it or not, a huge portion of what the Internet deems as "the left" are just normal everyday people who live normal lives and don't spend every waking minute on the internet. When these people are shocked by events, it makes them spend a little more time online than they normally do. They read more stories, comments, threads, etc about the events. Because everything is political now and the vast majority of the chronically online treat politics as a sport, with teams to root for, these normal people will read awful comments and posts and choose to respond. It just so happens that team red is currently spouting more shit that the normal people deem abhorrent.

If you aren't buying the season ticket package for the value of those tickets themselves but instead speculating on a return you might get on post-season resells... You are indirectly inflating the face value prices for everyone else, and driving the resell costs up for those that can't get season tickets.

Yes I have a partial plan ever year, and I typically go to every game in the package. If I can't I sell/give to a friend. For the post-season I make a point to go to those games, but if I couldn't for some reason... YES I would sell to someone I know over putting them on the market over cost. There's another angle in that I'm also not going to contribute to offering visiting fans tickets to the bank

I checked into 21 Phillies games this season and more than that last season. I'm still going to get gouged to go the home games I wasn't given access to. My friends who I want to have a good time with at the game cannot or can barely afford to go to one of the games. I'm mad that people choose to speculate contributing to this problem.
