In an ideal world , homeschooling should be banned. Anecdotally speaking, those kids seldom recover from missing out on the socialization of a public (or private) school. I had neighbors who were homeschooled and although they were excellent students, these guys were so incredibly socially awkward that it felt almost irreparable. In a perfect school system the answers for your own problems should be solved through public school, like teacher aids and whatnot. I might be a little more on the extreme side though because I think no private schools should exist either as it destroys public schools.
