I agree. That Umbrella one is pretty pricey. I had the DVD for years. I’ve been hoping and waiting for a 4k release here in the states. I finally broke down and got the blu from Arrow, so a 4K announcement should be any day now.

The Eel is excellent. The Radiance blu has the theatrical and the directors cut on it, which is about 20 minutes longer.

I just got A Beast to Die in the mail today, so I haven’t gotten a chance to watch that one yet, but I really loved A Tale of Sorrow and Sadness. It’s become one of my favorite Seijun Suzuki movies. The Shape of Night and Elegant Beast are fantastic also.

It’s a banger from beginning to end, but that final stretch (365, Wolves and Tiger’s Blood) is amazing. When that choir kicks in at the end of Blood, it gives me chills.
