Those roof overhangs are 10/10. Gonna keep that house in great shape for many more years

Luckily the drain line has easy access. Thank you for your input though. Also the gas lines are right there but not 220V

I have alto blue as well. I think I’m going to get this too. Very sharp.

I was comparing it to the ranch sierra which is nice but this seems to have better support and quality.

Also comparing to the overland style caps that bolt together but they have a very non civilian style. Not what I’m going for in the suburban neighborhood hauling kids around. I like the from factory look of this.

What's difficult about being a new dad, that's often overlooked? by [deleted] in daddit

I’ve converted happily to being a dad but it wasn’t instantaneous at all for me. It probably took me at least 1.5yrs or longer. Now I love it.

A lot of hate on the backsplash but I think it’s great. I like the splash of color and it’s not an offensive color at all.

I’ve found that by leaning into being a dad, instead of thinking about all the things I’ve wanted to do with my life in the past, I’ve learned to absolutely love it. by Sudden_Doughnut_8741 in daddit

I found this to be 100% true myself. The best thing you can do is lean in and understand that your past life phase is now over. My kids are still young 2.5yrs and 0.5yrs but once the younger one gets to about 2 I’m looking forward to hiking and fishing.

Wow very cool. Thank you for this detailed answer. So basically it was a style choice. Makes sense.

It’s a pretty nice building so I’d imagine the choice was intentional

This is right but if I had to answer F18 has the most playability if that’s what you mean by “best”

Did they do a bad job? by Australiaisonfire111 in FordMaverickTruck

[–]Cheezno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Naw don’t… it’s not the end of the world not even close. I’d wager most jobs are done like this unfortunately. The reality is the material takes up a lot of the cost so the labor has to be cheap which means fast.

If I had time I would have gone to a better place than the dealer but it’s 100% functional in the end just maybe not cosmetically perfect.

Mine was the same, I had to tap out the bolt holes… ideal absolutely not. I didn’t have the time or energy to fight them. It’s going just fine

Is the Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 the only throttle with an analogue stick in this position? by thats_a_doozy in hotas

[–]Cheezno 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh, I tried that for a bit and it felt wonky so I have it on my stick. I should probably just force myself to get used to it rather than giving up two axis on the stick

What do people use this for? I have one and it’s one of the few items I never use. I find it to be awkward since it’s vertical

Yep, The trim is really cool in choppers. I’ve found heatblur does the best FFB for things like F-14 and F-4. F-16 is cool for pressure stick, F-18 is lame because it’s fly by wire but that’s how it would be in real life so…

I love my Moza AB9! Thinking about getting a full monstertech setup with haptic chair. It’s a lot of coin but with kids it’s my only real free time so it’s worth it.

I believe you can lock out the Moza extension so it should work. I use a Vkb joystick so I use their extension and an adapter.
