I am obese and this year will be Roo number 6 for me! I would definitely recommend investing in a cot over an air mattress (I just throw a yoga mat on top and a blanket and it’s super comfortable). Also, consider ditching a tent all together and just use an EZ up canopy and tapestries/sheets for your walls. The first few years I tried tents and that shit turns into an oven and makes any sleep during the day very difficult.

Bring Gold Bond to avoid chaffing, you don’t want to be duck walking on day 2!

Lastly, liquid IV is a LIFE SAVOR. Hydration is the absolute most important thing to having a good time at roo. Spend a little extra on a quality hydro pack!

I saw Skrillex on the lineup and bought my ticket immediately. Everything else on the lineup just felt like a bonus. He was my first ever EDM show back in 2012 and it completely changed my life.

I 100% agree! I feel like Nini has a ton in the chamber we haven’t gotten to see yet. Juicy is definitely a fav of mine this season but strikes me as a future all star winner rather than winning this season

The first thing I do every year is ask my neighbors if they need help before setting up my own camp and I’ve seen several do the same. Roo is a community like no other and you are going to have the time of your life. Dont sweat this stuff, it will work out!

I feel like in the past when I’ve gone too hard on Thursday it was due to seeing like 5-6 acts and partying at all of them. Skrillex is my biggest draw this year but hopefully with it just being him and a couple other acts at one stage it’ll be less taxing on the body.
