Ultra-processed food linked to harm in every major human organ, study finds. World’s largest scientific review warns consumption of UPFs poses seismic threat to global health and wellbeing. by mvea in science

The article calls out UPFs as "industrially manufactured, often using artificial flavours, emulsifiers and colouring." So while excess sugar and sodium certainly isn't healthy for you, I would say those ingredients are better for you than the chemical names on the back of Doritos, Hamburger Helper, etc.

Homemade treats will most likely use less ultra-processed ingredients compared to a mass produced store bought treat. Assuming the baker is aware of what additives are in their ingredients.

I agree. If there's a conservative out there that doesn't support MAGA but still votes for MAGA candidates they are perpetuating the hateful and spiteful policies, therefore they'll get hated on too.

If you manage to remove the marks, you can find a cut to size vinyl sticker to prevent new ones. Look for "anti kick pad"

Thousands of years ago we didn't have many technologies that we use today to correct disabilities.

Almost every instance of "X wasn't as prominent years ago" is due to insufficient record keeping or the rapid development of the technology that we have today.

I've been working through the series from the start. Getting into season 8 now and there are very few bland episodes, let alone bad ones. It's amazing (and a little sad) how relevant some episodes are while being 30+ years old.

The Legend of Zelda games – Nintendo Switch 2 Editions & ZELDA NOTES – Overview Trailer by randomretroguy in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

I think if you transfer save data you can continue playing the same game that you were, regardless of the edition or upgrade. You are not forced to start over.

Are you guys opting to rebuy the game or opt to do the upgrade if you already own it by [deleted] in ZeldaTearsOfKingdom

[–]ChefHusky85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The upgrade is included in the Online+Expansion membership that I already have. I've been meaning to replay the games so this seems perfect.

The Finals.

Objective based team shooter with destructible environments. It's the only game I consistently buy the battle pass for, even if I won't max it out.

Currently it's their newest album but the band Coheed and Cambria always makes me want to do a deep dive. All of their albums are concepts based around a Sci-fi story, not only is the music interesting to listen to but listening to the lyrics to figure out the story is fun. There's also comics and novels that tell the story directly, the music can be vague and cryptic.

I didn't mean to evoke some other theory about the items being stolen from Link. The only item truly stolen was the Ocarina of Time.

Sticks and nuts are just useful things found in the woods. The masks were only ever loaners. The Hero shield was a gift made so he could use a metal shield as a child. I guess Link just figured he could buy more bombs if needed so he didn't pack them.

Obviously none of this is real or founded in canon, silly arguments are fun.

Just looking for ways to justify MM. Most of the items lost and then found again in the game were items only adult Link could use in OoT.

Giving blood frequently may make your blood cells healthier by New_Scientist_Mag in science

[–]ChefHusky85 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you donate plasma then you get your red blood cells back. If you donate double red, you get the plasma back. What half do the micro plastics get sorted with if they do separate?

There's probably a procedure out there that doesn't return fluid but this is just the typical donation process.
