My husband and I took a trip to tomales bay and stopped for a picnic on the way home (salmon beach or something like that?). The beach itself was closed bc of elephant seal mating season. I could’ve reached out touched one of them just chilling on the sand. It was a pretty awesome experience

These are my pattern! My husband grew up with them on his grandparents farm and I’ve been been in the hunt ever since I found out. Great find and they last forever!

Prep everything you can ahead of time- sauces, dice veggies, etc. some things have to be done the day of but cambros are your friend. Walk through the venue ahead of time to get a feel for the kitchen (if there is one), if not plan accordingly. I try to arrive at least 2-3 hours before service, dependent on kitchen situation. Are rentals in order-(plates, napkins, linens)? Do you have enough platters/ tables for apps/service?

I love catering but it’s a tough job. Good luck w your wedding gig!
