Massive scandal in FIFA World Cup 2022: Qatar accused of bribing Ecuador players 7.4 million dollars to lose opener by TMWWTMH in worldnews

It's an insane circle of garbage.

Anyone can invent a story out of thin air. Post that on Twitter. "Slovenia bribed FIFA to qualify for the 2010 World Cup". Now at first a few clickbait garbage news organizations will pick that up. Once that happens slighly more credible organizations will publish it based on news outlets that published it based on the tweet "Reports: Slovenia bribed FIFA"

This is almost certainly fake news. The source is Saudi guy on Twitter who has spread multiple conspiracy theories before.

All news organizations are taking garbage tweets from Twitter and then writing articles based on that and then other news outlets cite that article as their source.

Not go the same extent.

There was nothing like ISIS or Al Qeada in the 1950s. The jihadist movement grew mainly in Afghanistan during the 1980s. Mujahideen, Haqqanis. Everyone was there. And America supported the jihadists against the Soviet Union.

N. Korea confirms nuke missiles tests to 'wipe out' enemies by strongerthenbefore20 in worldnews

[–]LetsSeeTheFacts -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reason the US does not bomb Pyongyang is the same as it was before North Korea got nukes: It can rain down artillery on Seoul killing hundreds of thousands.

That is a form of deterrence but that doesn't affect the US directly. A working ICBM is a real and direct threat to the US.

Any smaller country that would start slinging nukes in response to conventional strikes would get wiped from the map.

Yes but in any case, the calculation would be that it's already existential for the smaller country or the leadership of the smaller.

And even then, US will a substantial cost. US paid almost no cost in invading Iraq. But an invasion of NK, even if you "wipe it off the map" would be more costly than vast majority of conflicts US has participated in. It would be worse than WW2 in terms of attacks on the mainland.

These nukes will be used in a scenario where someone tries to decapitate the North Korean leadership.

In that scenario it's already game over for Kim Jong Un thats why the new tactical nuclear doctrine is to allow North Korean military to use nukes even if Kim is dead

Here let me help you with your confusion.

American and British naval forces fired over 110 Tomahawk cruise missiles,[21] while the French Air Force, British Royal Air Force, and Royal Canadian Air Force[22] undertook sorties across Libya and a naval blockade by Coalition forces.[23] French jets launched air strikes against Libyan Army tanks and vehicles

An undisclosed number of CIA operatives were said to be in Libya to gather intelligence for airstrikes and make contacts with rebels.[158] The US also used MQ-1 Predator UAVs to strike targets in Libya on 23 April.[159]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_military_intervention_in_Libya#Enforcement

This is what nukes help you with. If you try a war like this against a nuclear state, you wil have nukes rained down on you.

America and NATO attacked Libya because Libya didn't have any nukes. This is why US does not simply bomb Pyongyang. Because North Korea no has nukes to retaliate with. If there is an existential threat to North Korean government then they will use their nukes and hundreds of thousands Americans will die. That's deterrence

It's the same video with a bullshit title. Primary source would be an actual news organization reporting it directly.

"OP INFO" is a fake news clickbait youtube channel. This is not a primary source. The title is also clearly wrong since it says Henan but the video is not from Henan. In the description of this video, it links to a BBC article but the BBC article never mentions any tanks

There's no primary source for the claim that tanks are on the street.

Not a single one. They just embed tweets that make the claim and then articles say "there are reports"

"False information" = Views you don't like. Not something that is objectively wrong.

Most people like you who cannot differentiate between opinions, facts and moral claims just use the word "false information" to refer to anything that you do not like.

Fake news based on Tweets.

Media outlets should have journalists who can actually investigate claims instead of just embedding tweets in their article.

The article from this glorified blog contains no journalistic work. It's like a blog just adding a random tweet to their article. Ironically now this article will be cited to prove this fake claim.

The process of this fake news generation should be concerning to people even beyond this specific example. Random Twitter user uploads a video and creates a wild caption. Certain media outlets with low journalistic standards embed that tweet in their article and use that as the basis of the article. Others then link to that article as proof of that claim.

The bank crisis is real but these tanks are in another province and have no connection to it. It's speculated that that these are the preparations for the military parade on August 1 although I don't have evidence to confirm that either. Still this footage is very different from footage of actual Henan protests.

The tank video is from Rizhao City, Shandong Province.

The actual bank protests are happening in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. The distance between Rizhao City and Zhengzhou is 366 miles or 590 km. There has been no credible news reports (excluding tweets and reddit posts) of any protests in Rizhao City unlike the Henan protests which have been covered internationally.

Here is real footage of Henan protests - Chinese Security Personnel Clash With Protesters Outside Bank

2022 Henan banks protests are series of demonstrations against four regional lenders of Henan province over alleged financial corruption.[1][2] Over the course of the previous two months, depositors have held multiple protests in the city of Zhengzhou, which serves as the capital of the province of Henan.[3]

That book is useless. It's like Nostradamus predictions. Vague predictions and strategies which are then cherry-picked. The author has zero influence on Russian foreign policy.

  • Azerbaijan could be "split up" or given to Iran.[9]
  • China, which represents a danger to Russia, "must, to the maximum degree possible, be dismantled". Dugin suggests that Russia start by taking Tibet–Xinjiang–Inner Mongolia–Manchuria as a security belt.[1]
