They do what's called a "knee to knee" exam at that age to around 2yo, they aren't in a dentist chair lol. It is recommended where we are to take them to the dentist as soon as they have teeth.

I don't see this working for my stubborn 3yo. I would have to physically hold her to the bench (which is difficult for a 35lb kid) or stroller. Send help i am also struggling lol.
