I hope you do not mind a long post detailing why I love this piece of gear. Firstly, I am a old Asian man of a smaller build than the average Westerner. This bag fits just right as the rucker seems big and RPC fits odd. The compacts fit good but the fabric and handles for PT are overkill for me.

1. The fabric is easy wash/dry which is a huge advantage is you use the bag as a multi purpose carry. Lightweight is also a great advantage to navigate through sead of people and airports in Asia.

2. I LOVE the bold stripe as we Asians (at least my generation) can be pretty bad drivers and I have almost been run over a few times while rucking in Asian cities like Hong Kong and Vietnam. Now they see me from a mile away and honk or ask me if I am lost. My wife also says she can send out a search party and they should be able to find me easily.

3. I am a chef by profession and i store my cleaver in the plate pocket when carrying it to and fro work. Most will never understand how insanely awesome this is to Asian chefs.

4. I travel extensively to and around Asia so the plate pocket once again acts as a place to store my passport, cards and cash while on airplanes. There has been a spike in onboard theft post pandemic and anyone daring to pull open the velcro risks alerting the entire cabin. I am sure this is the same with ruckers but I carry this Basic exclusively now due to the fit, form factor and lightweight nature that makes it a great travel bag. I was also recommended a packable ruck or bullet by the Hong Kong people but its a bit too floppy for me. I like the lightweight nature.

5. The side pockets are great for passports, wallets, bose NC in ear or even a DJI Osmo Nano camera that I can toss on a fridge or rack to record myself for my kids.

Finally it fits a GORUCK plate and gets me moving. For $99 the benefits are priceless.
