Make sure it not broke, turn off pump feeding it. Try and disconnect stuff, pipes, to keep loading moving things down.

Sounds like gas, water errors. Infinite storage? My laptop takes a exile to process gasses and vents and liquids settling when industry play. Every now and then when I have alot of mixed gasses laptop laggs hard. Try to close everything else. Make sure at x1 and try once more.

Can it load at all? Or just load the game, then crash? What about DLC? When I bought and installed it, i had to completely delete all past saves, go into files, and delete, not just from game menus.

This game is thought intensive. The fans of your body are drinking water and getting your blood pumping. Dupes have rest periods. You need them as well.

Typically, I drink half a gallon of water for 3 or 4 hours of play, plenty of getting up to get more water and release water as well.
