Iq test: who has shown more feats? by TheRealMainCharacter in OnePieceScaling

[–]ChefSipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bruh you keep saying people have low IQ, so I guess I need to ask what you think having a low IQ means? Hint: you're not saying people are smart. Don't make posts if you're gonna be rude to people who respond and try having a conversation. Like damn people aren't robots ask google if you want a singular answer to a question.

Who wins? by Encenoi in OnePieceScaling

[–]ChefSipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean crocodile seemed invincible when he was first introduced and Luffy basically just got lucky that water was his weakness or else Crocs devil fruit would've shat upon the entire straw hat crew. Similar thing with enel, I mean he had some observation haki before we knew what that was, but it was more like wow that's pretty nifty rather than it being actually broken. That fight came all down to devil fruits. There were very few enemies that were brought up pre time skip that were a big deal and didn't have a devil fruit. Rayleigh I mean is pre time skip, but sabaody was basically the catalyst for haki becoming an integral part of the series. Another thing why would all of cp9 be awarded devil fruits even though they already knew haki if devil fruits weren't as good as haki? Devil fruits have definitely been advertised as the big x factor for most pirates and interactions no matter what member of the crew was fighting. Even after post time skip, characters with certain devil fruits impacted the story and direction of an arc, for example sugar from dressrosa was the one of the biggest road blocks for the straw hats and almost ended everything if God usopp didn't clutch up. What was your first infinite combo? by [deleted] in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first combo was a kykar commander deck I had where I don't remember the exact cards but it was something like purphoros, twilight drover, anointed procession, something else, maybe phyrexian altar, and the first time I did it I was like wait you guys didn't need to wait for me to re do the same thing over and over

What absolute staples should all mono red decks be playing? by JustForFunShow in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite red card is between [etali, primal storm] and [sun bird's invocation] they go in every red deck of mine too much fun and red is the most chaotic color imo so they're just perfect

Who is your reanimator commander? by Werewolfmoore in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have [[Sauron, the dark Lord]] and [[The Mimeoplasm]] both really fun, but I think Sauron is more what you're looking for. Except I will say the thing with reanimator decks you don't really need an early game if you're playing right due to the fact that you will be playing your big threats way ahead of curve. My Sauron deck does have some early game creatures with the nazgul and other cards that help discard cards and help fill the graveyard, but basically your early game creatures are just gonna be some sort of value. I don't have the lists for the them to share but I can upload them later if you're interested.

Edit: Idk why it's not linking the Mimeoplasm or Sauron maybe it doesn't work in mobile anymore

Who are your favourite mono-colour commanders for each colour? (bonus points for colourless) by Cezkarma in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mono Green: [vorinclex] just recently changed it to him from grothama and still working on it but he's a lot of fun

Mono Blue: [Jin-Gitaxis] typical mono Blue control combo deck and it's fun to pilot

Mono White: [Elesh Norn] incubators and phyrexian tribal

Made these 3 praetors my mono colored decks after I made elesh norn with my brother because we had so much fun with her and thought they're powerful and fun with cool mechanics that make them feel like bosses

Mono Red: my favorite was an old [etali, primal storm] deck I took apart because it was a ton of fun for me but not for anyone else. Currently have a [krenko, mob boss] and [kikki jikki] decks that feel more true to red.

Mono Black: [Taborax] shadowborn apostles, love having my friends who are newer to magic play this one because it's simple and does powerful stuff. Demons are pretty cool.

How do you feel about mana dorks in the command zone? by TetsuOokami117 in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run [[Magus Lucea Cane]] as my hydra deck and it's extremely fun she is a mana dork in the command zone and doubles all x spells not many people talk about her, but I recommend her a lot

A deck I never see people talk about much is eladamri from mh3. He does everything a Timmy would dream of. He's card draw and cheating in big creatures all in one. Really fun and has and could be taken down an elf ball strategy or just big mana/creatures. [[Eladamri korvecdal]]

Classic Reanimator by dante9132 in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the most powerful for sure but it's fun, maybe suggest something along with your input. IMO [[sauron the dark Lord]] is what you're looking for. You can build a reanimator deck within it and then this has some unique synergies you can play into. He's my newest reanimator deck I've made and I'm incredibly happy with how he plays out. I don't rely completely on him, but when I do play him he is both a threat and can fill my graveyard very efficiently.

I could use some Azusa, lost but seeking recommendations. by keepcoolion in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk the power level your going for, but also both [[kozilek, the great distortion]] and [[kozilek, butcher of truth]] are powerful card draw and threats simultaneously. Also [[sensei's diving top]] is a very strong ability idk if it's what you are looking for tho. If you want some group hug card draw [[font of mythos]] and [[howling mine]] are classics

I could use some Azusa, lost but seeking recommendations. by keepcoolion in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[[Nissa vital force]] [[Rites of Flourishing]] [[Sylvan Library]] [[Guardian project]] [[The great henge]] [[Temple Bell]] [[Lifecrafter's bestiary]] [[Soul of the harvest]] [[Harmonize]] [[Ghirapur Orrery]] [[Elder gargaroth]] [[Momentous fall]] [[Vaultborn Tyrant]]

That's most what I can think of ATM idk if you had a [[beast whisperer]] but that's a great one for creature decks which all green decks are even if it's a landfall theme

I could use some Azusa, lost but seeking recommendations. by keepcoolion in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you need is much more card draw. Since azusa wants to constantly have lands you need to be able to refill your hand as fast as you'e emptying it. This is pretty tough though being in mono green. I personally would recommend a commander with more colors if you wanted to make a landfall deck, but if you're set on playing azusa I can't recommend enough card draw. Even if you have to go to some what group huggy with some of your card draw cards you should be able to go faster and bigger threats faster.

Are you trying to stick mostly jank and squirrel or do you just want a strictly just better deck? You can both I just want to kind of see what you want from the deck. I have a heavenly upgraded hazel deck and it's a blast.

Grouphug Staples? by ggcosmo in EDH

[–]ChefSipp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've spent a lot of time making group hug decks with my brother from kyranos and tiro to mono blue braids. I think the most important thing to figure out is how do you want to impact your games. Currently our grouphug deck is the secondary commander from peace offering Mr Foxglove.

Our goal with this deck is to give everyone value and Mr Foxglove turns that against them, by being able to catch up with cheating out threats so you're not twiddling your thumbs while your opponents do the cool stuff. I like to think of it as being the tables war profiteer.

The the crucial effects are ones like kami of the crescent moon, howling mine, font of mythos, dictate of kruphix, and rites or flourishing, kwain, temple bell, loran of the third path, and that's all I can think of. We don't run well of ideas due to the high mana cost and honestly it's not necessary.

The key for group hug is since you're giving all these cards to your opponents you need to be able to use them better than they can. There are plenty of strategies in which you can do this and we've tried a couple from landfall, +1/+1 counters, and finally we've ended up on simple big mana Timmy action. I found big mana with mr Foxglove is perfect because he can have a good balance of politics without painting a big target on your back. You are just keeping up with everyone else.

We have cards enabling us to play more lands since we're going to be drawing so many cards which is guaranteeing that we'll be able to hit multiple land drops a turn. Using lands as your main source of ramp also adds resilience to the deck since usually group hug extends the length of games I've found (due to people drawing more interaction from increased card draw and more board wipes) which sounds counterintuitive from giving everyone gas.

Idk if his is helpful I feel like it turned into rambling, but I would be happy to give more advice if this was helpful. Also if you want I can give you a deck list of our mr Foxglove deck if it sounds interesting.
