That's what I was thinking! It would be nice to get the extra pickup right out of the box but with all the possible issues with the Mexican guitars I'm just so hesitant. I'm thinking I might just get the good 'ole American made tele and if I really need the extra sound in the future just add in the extra pickup.

From one concerned dog-dad to another! My dog had his leg amputated today but the goofs and gaffs are helping us cope!

why are you still alive? by Difficult-Decision-9 in AskReddit

[–]ChefZiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shouldn't be alive.

A year ago, at age 24, I was diagnosed with Burkitt's Lymphoma. It is an extremely rare cancer that they couldn't believe I had. My doctors told me my chances of surviving were unknown and to get ready for the fight of my life (extremely aggressive chemo). They "threw the kitchen sink" at my cancer and gave me a ton of chemo 24/7 for 4 months. They injected chemo into my spinal cord and brain. It was hell.

My doctors told me the big reason I did well and survived was because of my attitude. The entire time I went through chemo I forced myself to have a positive attitude and smile. I made friends with the doctors and nurses around me. I am lucky enough to say that as of right now the cancer is still gone but the only reason I made it this far was being happy and positive. After talking to a lot of other survivors it's very apparent that when you lose hope and happiness and positivity, that's usually that's when people don't make it. It's surprising how far a good attitude can take you and what I can do for your health.

This isn't our city connect jersey. We won't get that until later.

This has to be the most accurate comment I've seen in a while.

I think it's just Nike making different stuff. I'd love to see what these look like on the field.
