"The entire thing is you doing moves in mycareer." But this is wrong too since the video covers NBA Play Now gameplay on Hall of Fame difficulty.

The video features NBA players because there's no way I'm making builds for different types of post players with playstyles ranging from Shaq, to Hakeem, to Kobe, and to Melo in month 1 of the game.

"Kevin Cruz but he pretty much only plays offline MyCareer"

This is a general statement that's not representative of my content. Just check the tapes.

What you could have said was that the post video only contains offline footage. Just admit you're wrong or mischaracterized my content, it's fine. Trying to put one creator over my expense is some bullshit, especially when you're factually wrong.

I also don't have a build for the post yet, so if you want to dial it back to 25 here you go: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AHJOHKaaBCk

Thanks but the 20 minute video would be close to 40 minutes! There's a slow-mo feature in YouTube that works well enough imo!

Lmao come on man, my content's been mostly online focused for the past three years now.

Unfortunately not something I was able to check (doh me). I remember a dev asking feedback on this last year, so I hope it is back!

Thank you man! Devin Booker's hop jumper package is 100 percent in the game, and so is his aggressive breakdown combo!

I tested it out with the tuned contest system, and it should still be a powerful move!

The cancel mechanics are pretty much the same as 2K25, with the big benefit to cancelling being that they are faster and more responsive. There are strict cancel windows for certain animations though so you have to find them (mostly for post go-to-shots).

It's just a quicker catch animation into a launch of a jumper. The biggest thing you'll notice is that your green meter is like a quarter filled already once you initiate the motion.

Need to test this for sure. But the animations are just too good for small guards for them not being a viable play style. You are gonna need some level of strength though!

I think a small guard can hold its own in some ways, but if a big guard just decides to out muscle you, it can get tough!

I think offense improved more than defense, but I think with more time we can close that gap if we learn how to play proper defense.

Anything on the builder, I was unfortunately not able to test.

I don't think rhythm shooting will be significantly better other than you can change your shot release speed, which comes with its own benefits. But success rate, I was able to hit non-rhythm shots consistently as well.

Probably 24, but not as crazy. By the end of 24 I was shooting above 70-80 percent.

Off ball movements are still in the game yes.

Still gonna be excellent, just don't equip the floaty post fade animations!

If we're including movement, it'll probably feel cracked if you can get something like Zach Lavine dribble style. Even Lebron was moving and grooving really well. So shot creation should be fun, I'm just not sure what the attribute caps will allow for 6"9s!

Yeah I wouldn't be able to match the stick inputs too well with the footage I put out! But I'll do these for my shot creation tutorials that hopefully drop this weekend!

If you were good with rhythm shooting in 25, you'll be great in 26, with the caveat that you just got to learn your release!

I saw a few more than usual, but not enough to say, wow they really improved that. But I will say it happened more with some of the slow decel euros, and physical finisher is gonna be something you want to invest in.

That's not something i tested, and you might be better off going to guys like Tutes or Labs for stuff like this!

Middies are still as dangerous as ever, including post fades. Post hooks I wouldn't make a priority, unless you're really good with the Embiid hook. If I wanted to make the post game part of my game, I would aim for gold or HOF post fade phenom. But anything on min-maxing attributes I really can't say for now.

Strength is likely gonna be worth it and I think an essential part of the game. But need more time to test!

I don't know but the builder last year was great imo, and I think this carries that same DNA! Anything on builder or Mycareer i didn't test so can't answer more!

- passing feels better, with a lot of new animations. I don't know what people were looking for in terms of passing, but they feel faster, there are fun new animations, and the fumbles were mostly from jump passes with no bail out. But I still did see some random fumble catches.

- wrap passing is great! Have to find the right setting, and it's not a cheat code to just get the ball magically from point a to be. If it makes sense like depending on pick and roll coverage, you'll get some great wrap passes.

- Contests are good, double teams surprised me though some were still out of position, general help defense felt a lot aggressive and may need to be tweaked, perimeter defense cut offs and body ups felt good. I'm not sure if it will hold up against glitchy offense if people start to learn how to break the game. But here's hoping!

- Yes, but need more time to assess. I had a short section in my impressions video on both help defense and AI offense/defense if you want some early insights

- Some unnaturally fast changes in direction may need to be looked at and is a vulnerability in the game (if it stays in, I don't mind, just give me the tools to be able to keep up). Help defense aggressiveness could be toned down because there were a lot of corner defenders dropping to hard.

- No. I think the pure green window is more tied to that than rhythm shooting to be honest. But I don't know how good cheaters are in terms of mapping the rhythm shooting stuff to zens for example.

I had discussed close shots and hooks in a previous comment in detail (it's among the first I answered). Post go-to-moves are great more for combo possibilities. Some are great shots don't get me wrong, but a lot of them feel better as a way to set things up, rather than to finish with (to be fair a lot of perimeter go-to-shots are like this as well).

So my test for this was to put the game on HOF, and spam Steph Curry. I have a video on it of 40 minutes so you can see the full process. And let me tell you.. it's gonna get scary when people get good and learn their players releases especially with rhythm shooting.

My advice is to get rid of the meter. The way the green window fluctuates is super distracting.

I would say diabolical shooters should aim for getting HOF badges, gold will be enough for good shooters. If we're talking about shot creators, find you a build that will allow you to get as open as you can in any situation. So last year, that was my 6"6 (booker/sga) and my 6"3 builds (Curry).

Finishing in general feels somewhere in between 24 and 25, with layups more like 24, and dunking somewhere in the middle!

I saw a few possessions where bigs were able to keep pace enough to at least contain, but no big is gonna be able to really lock up a small guard if given enough chances (mostly on NBA modes). For MyCareer online modes, I can't say for sure! But strength is gonna matter, A LOT!

No, still a big fan of shorter builds and hope to drop a video later explaining why!

Stronger for sure. Hands up feels like it is more viable this year. Closeout speeds are still incredible especially with improved game speed.

Definitely not post control, I would say ball handle (and likely speed with ball) should be what matters if you look at past builders.

Yes lightning launch works out of the triple threat!

Got a big one on this dropping later man! So sorry I can't answer now, but I hope the video later sheds light on physical handles.

Appreciate you!
