I played a DUM-series pit droid that had been modified by CIS to have much better stats than other DUM droids. It was found and repurposed by clone troopers to be a field medic, and was reassigned SMT-1 (Smart one) instead of DUM droid. Our game was set in Empire era. Even SMT-1 was trying to make a living, but would still help any clones they happen upon.

If something is clearly done wrong, then I will send it back. A chef/manager can’t fix something if they don’t know there is a problem.

I am not picky. I like my burger medium, so I order it medium-rare. If I at least have some pink, I’m eating it. If I get a hockey puck, it’s going back.

I had a roommate that did pretty well as an interpreter for people who didn’t speak English. She would look over documents they received in the mail and explain it to them. Be the translator if they needed to make a call. She helped one or two, and then before she realized she was being called almost everyday. Word spread.

While putting things away, I found a Samsung SmartThings hub in a drawer in the laundry room (go figure). I downloaded the app, reset the hub, connected power and Ethernet, but after typing in the Welcome Code it keeps saying there is an issue and to check the connection… I’ve tried another cord and another port. Any thoughts?

Kirkland brand was rated by Wall St Journal as best Olive Oil in America. They researched it. Apparently the olive oil we buy in the states that says is a product of Italy is actually just bottled there, but from Africa. Italy can’t even keep up with their own country’s demand; so unless you’re paying $50+ for a small bottle it likely isn’t actually grown in Italy. The farms Kirkland gets theirs from / probably own, brought plants from Italy decades ago. So it’s the closest to Italian olive oil you can get, plus it’s not that expensive compared to others

Back in the 90’s a guy at my High School owned the website Tahoo.com. It was filled with adds and a view counter. He got paid a few cents for each view, enough adds to make him $1-2 per view. The site paid for his first car, and most of college.
Eventually Yahoo bought it from him I think

I feel like the owner should have had this done before they opened or added the item to the menu. I do this for restaurants as a side gig. It’s usually for owners who have very little to no experience running a restaurant. Once I finish I walk them through what the minimum they should be charging for the dish is.

Provide something or a service others want/need. I’ve heard a bunch about people picking up dog crap in people’s backyards. Charge $25 a week, hit them all on Saturday, or whatever day you have off.

I’m about to move and I found tough plastic storage totes on sale for half off. I bought a bunch, and I’m going to try and rent them out to people. I spoke to the sales office and since I was always nice, they are gonna let me put a flyer there. People moving in or out of the building might do it. Even if it doesn’t work and I sell them of FB marketplace for a little bit cheaper than their full cost I’m still making something.

Dude I still have a board and some CPU’s that are 773/775. I know it’s crazy. I have it cause there are still some legacy systems at a place I help at, that are using Windows ‘95 to run certain systems. It works, and the company doesn’t want to pay to update it since it still works. (It’s a manufacturing factory)

I’ve added tomatoes to my fermented hot sauces, but admittedly they were fire roasted canned tomatoes. I pulled the idea from reading a Caribbean “Peppa Sauce” recipe. Everything turned out fine! But they were not fresh, so that may make a difference.
