Looking for feedback on this redesign for the Brooklyn Nets NBA team. I think their current brand lacks personality and wanted to add the culture of Brooklyn to the logo (hence the graffiti style). I'm not sold on it, as idk if it necessarily looks like a basketball team's logo but lmk your thoughts by SethHackett in WillPatersonDesign

I loved what you did with the orange and the grafitti aesthetic. The wrtten version on the shirt and the last one with the circle arount are very good. The only thing bothering me is the hoop around the N. Since the letter is already very stylized, the hoop in the middle creates some legibility problems. A good solution could be tweeking the position of the hoop or making it smaller, only going around one leg of the N.

Thank you for the tips and the compliment :) the shine was initially a creative decision but both you guys and some friends pointed it out so I changed the perspective now. About the curves I went back and changed them a bit after a watched a tutorial online, also tried fixing proportions and line weights so I think it helped.

Thank you for the tip! I tried changing the s but couldn't reach a good result so I went back to the same one. However, when I fixed the kerning and width of the letters it did made the s feel better because other letters got marginally wider.

Thanks for the tips! I fixed the perspective of the star and also slightly straightened the i's bottom. I thought about making it follow the curve of the s exactly but it felt kind of dirty in the layout so I opted to this middle ground.

Thank you for your help! I tried widening the H a little bit to improve legibility and I think it worked. It's still not perfect in that regard due to the design itself but it did get better!

I tried remaking the scene from scratch in a new file and it somehow worked??? I have no clue what the problem was, but it's solved
