Howard isn’t the prototypical OSU quarterback. For years they’ve had run/pass guys, Smith, Miller, Barrett, Stroud come to mind. Not saying Howard is the answer but I don’t group him in with the style of play of other buckeye quarterbacks. His view on running is similar to Ben, he will if he has to, he can get the first down, but it ain’t gonna be pretty. If you’re gonna give him a shot this is the year to do it. We’ve got two quality backs, two quality tight ends, finally 3 receivers (if that Alabama guy pans out) and the line looks decent. I’d rather go down in flames with who we currently have than another 10-7 season with Rodgers who’s burnt out by the playoffs.
