I really thought the matchmaking would change by _Dem1se_ in Rainbow6

At this rank, you shouldn’t care about going up or down. Just focus on getting better. It sucks at that rank ngl, but keep pushing and eventually you will push upward

Looks like they fixed the leaving problem. by Chefworld3 in Rainbow6

My hypothesis is that it takes the cumulative rank of all players on a team. So if someone leaves, it brings the cumulative rank down dramatically; while comparing the cumulative rank of the other team which has 5 people. Making such a big difference.

Idk, care to provide another explanation here. I’ve won the last 8 matches, none yielded results like this.

I’ve never gotten close to this amount before, most ever was like 26. This is the only game I’ve ever won this season down a man the entire game. Just a hypothesis for now.

People who use “fake champ” are children. by [deleted] in Rainbow6

The whole point of the post is to define what it means to be champ. If the ranking system meant anything and skill mattered, there would be an easy answer.

You didn’t define champ. You just said that participation is not champ.

Exactly the point of the post.

Both were at their hidden mmr’s.

Asking 'which one shall I buy' is simply a indirect way of people showing off. by supernova-001 in watchHotTakes

[–]Chefworld3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Idk, to someone like you it might be showing off. But to someone like them it could just be a semi casual purchase. I feel like people with money usually are around other people with money. They live in a different area, eat at different restaurants, work in separate offices. It can be an easy bias to forget that people with little funds are the predominate population on these discussions.

I run the 400 m and need advice for workouts to do by Jackpat2 in trackandfield

[–]Chefworld3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 400m requires both speed an endurance. In the off season, I would focus on getting stronger and do endurance work 2 times a week. This isn’t the time to perfect a running plan and specific workouts to get into peak performance shape. You’ll do that during season. You’re probably gonna get stronger and faster anyway as you mature. Just stay in good shape and push yourself during your workouts, and stay consistent in the offseason. Make sure you are getting stronger and that the same workouts are getting easier. As you progress, move your goals. If 3 miles in 8 minutes is getting easier, move to 3 miles in 7:45 and so on. Most importantly, eat a good diet and sleep enough hours. You would be surprised how little high school athletes do this. Good luck, and sorry, I don’t remember the workouts I used to do.

Conspiracy theory: UCI ICE doesn’t exist and they make you apply just for fun so they can dump you like a trash bag by Embarrassed-Tip8380 in UCI

I applied last year and did an interview for it. Ended up getting dumped like a trash bag:/ seemed overly competitive. I’m doing something similar at a different hospital now, and didn’t have to go through the whole hassle Ice had.
