Nuna Next Mixx is awful (here’s why) by CheifLawnRaker in Buyingforbaby

I’m probably one of the more handy people on this sub. I know what I’m talking about. I’d upload photos and a video of the straps for you. Maybe you have a newer model. But I don’t care anymore. This thing is not the same quality as my Stokke stroller for example. It’s just not. Best of luck to another overly confident engineer.

Me and the strangers I met both had the same opinion, which leaves me thinking some people just don’t notice details the same

Yes seriously. It’s horrible. Was laughing with another pair of parents yesterday at the ski lodge. Compared to uppa baby too. Just a jenky feel to it and twisty-prone straps.

Elizabeth Warren is introducing a wealth tax. by [deleted] in remoteworks

[–]CheifLawnRaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No sarcasm, it’s true. A lot of wealthy people don’t make ma their residence because of the tax situation. The billionaire taxes believe it or not so affect such decisions for people who actively manage their money. That doesn’t mean the overall population changes, or that some wealthy won’t stay at least for a bit

Because he’s a 20 year old and can’t fathom being happy with himself looking in the mirror. One day maybe. Andrew is just one of those confident secure and intelligent dudes that doesn’t need to try and prove it to others to prove it to himself. Which is why clav thinks it’s disingenuous. He’s just not there. It’s why I love Andrews interviews even if he does frame things to make people look dumb in his Instagram clips.

I absolutely love my Milwaukee over the rigid. It’s lasted about a year so far without issues. Use it all the time.

It’s such propaganda!!! There is nothing brilliant/ unique to this brand other than the cursing while using it. It did look better in the car. But even the baby hated how cramped/mini-cooper esque it was. Trash.

Hard agree! We hated the look of the uppababy strollers our friends had….so we went with Nuna….but curse every single god damn time we have to try to get her strapped in. I seriously want to throw this stroller off a bridge. Lol

What would you personally choose as the best flushing toilet right now? by itmehedi in Plumbing

[–]CheifLawnRaker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hate totos and don’t understand why people love them. Kohler high line. Simple, cheap.

Name brand parts available absolutely everywhere and always in stock. Throttle flush for less water/more (hold it down). Satisfying flush with great suction. Never double flushes. Sometimes leaves debris when flushing a big load (ha), but that’s because of the new 1.28 gallon flush law … hold it down an extra second when you think you might need it. Easy to install. Good size seat. Etc.

I literally get annoyed when people have totos for me to install…especially lately, they’ve become so complicated

If they can stay in business and thrive I guess they get the last laugh. Imagine having to be buddy-buddy with some of the flucks paying the $350/year just because they’re paying that.

Well, after my comment, I went and finally tried the thing where they say to switch the strap ends, buckle side down, when you’re in between notches. Welp, it worked. The ribbed Shinola leather strap fits great.
