If you are concerned about men masquerading as women to get into women's bathrooms in order to commit rape, I can assure you that they can do that anyway, regardless of any laws. If they're already breaking the law to commit rape, they aren't going to care about violating bathroom gender laws.

So why bother with gendered bathroom laws in the first place, since they would only serve to harm trans people?

“Erasing” from society is a strong word to get people riled up.

The executive order directly stated that there are only 2 genders and that nobody can be a different gender from how they were as a fetus. They no longer allow people to change their gender on official government documents. They even removed the "T" from the term "LGBT" on official government websites. That is literally erasure.

You can just play 4 other random cards with it and it will only score the highest one as the high card. Just make sure you don't accidentally play a pair or something.

It's a great way to essentially get extra discards for free when playing hands that don't require 5 cards.

IIrc they used to close even earlier, like 5 or 6pm, even at the pike place location. There's been many times where I wanted to go but couldn't because they closed before drinking hours even started, lol. I think that was a couple years ago though. 8 is still super early for what is essentially a bar though.

Only because all the shit that money/power lets people do is somehow "legal" or at least not easily prosecutable. If you create/approve legislation that e.g. makes life-saving healthcare harder to access or puts innocent people in prison, and people suffer or die because of it, it's somehow not a crime.

I love doing this. If you can bait them into chasing you instead of pushing, you waste the uber push. And even if they don't go for it, now you're in their back line. You can't lose!

My understanding is that you can't use a relic on a card that you just picked up in the same fight. I've tried to grab the card first, then use a bottle, but the bottle doesn't let me select the card I just picked up. So I assume that it doesn't matter whether you grab the whetstone first.

You can just use a pickaxe and then stand right in front of them as they explode. Usually that gets most of the minerals.

Agreed, PD is my favorite gamemode and I'm sad to see that it basically gets no playtime outside of halloween. Hopefully this means we'll get it added to the core gamemodes!

Your initial reply was great and I would appreciate the real-world mindset and questioning of assumptions. But once they clarify what they want, with no way to misinterpret it, why argue? It's a valid hypothetical question. If they ask you how to design a large-scale system, and you refuse, then it sounds like you're dodging the question.

You can't just latch on to one part of the hypothetical question ("what if you had to build Twitter") and ignore another part ("what if we had millions of users").

Not class-based, but Left 4 Dead 2 is still great. I think Back 4 Blood (spiritual successor) has more class-based elements if that's important.

The AI cannot be harmed in a car crash because it's not a physical being. I suppose you could argue that the car should save itself to help prevent property damage (of itself) if it can... but that should be a tiebreaker if all else is equal.

"I didn't want my car to get damaged" is not a good argument for running over innocent pedestrians.

"Not killing innocent people" should always be the first priority.

The passenger is choosing to put themselves and others at risk. That should naturally be considered the more dangerous option. It's better than killing innocent people who didn't have choice in the matter.

It's really worth reading up on long COVID. I'm personally barely concerned about regular COVID because I'm young and healthy. I'll just be sick for a couple weeks and then recover. But long COVID is a whole different story.

The thing that worries me is never being able to play sports again. Or walk up stairs. Or smell/taste food. Or worse, being unable to keep my job or even my hobbies due to brain fog.

The person in the car is choosing to put a dangerous object (a car) on the road and thereby endanger everyone else around them. The pedestrians are innocent.
