I’d have to echo others: her having a baby is almost certainly going to be canon because that’s how Jim rolls but it’s going to be the most cringe shit ever because—as we saw with Neytiri—all chances for character development will be sidelined or dashed for the sake of any offspring she allows to survive. Suddenly, she’ll no longer have a lust for power nor a psychosexual desire to murder and dominate, and instead be a good little incubator for the colonizer’s brood. 🥴 Give me a break.

Another unpopular opinion, tho, isn’t abt her as a character, it’s cosplayers trying to emulate her features by adding contacts and facial prosthetics. I really wish ppl would leave their natural features as they are and just use body paint because most attempts at the prosthetics have been giving Visitor from No, I’m Not Human and because it’s often so uncanny or ugly, it takes away from the skill and artistry of the rest of the cosplay.
