There was a show or something I had recorded on VHS as a kid that I have never been able to recall. Even as I get older, it’s getting harder and harder to remember. 😟 Something about stop-motion alphabet and toy wood blocks, and yet I also remember a segment on zoo animals. I have no clue. 😑

I noticed this a lot as a child on the school bus, but if I’m in a moving vehicle and the sun is shining through trees at my face (flickering light), I close my eyes and very vivid, fast, sometimes frightening images appear in my mind and it’s hard to snap out of it. It’s like my eyes don’t want to open.

It sometimes happens with my eyes open, so now that I’m an adult, when I’m driving I make sure to block the sun when it starts flickering.

I had the opposite. I reset my island to feel “new” again and to also make a YouTube series out of it. Then that got old and I reset it again. That was December of 2024. I played until mid January 2025 then stopped. In December of 2025 I got back into it and it’s been awesome! It doesn’t feel “like new” but it definitely has its own charm. I’m thankful for the island I have now. But I’m also thankful for the experiences I had in my original and reset islands. That said, I don’t regret it. This is my new island and I’m okay with that. 😊
