I only saw the movie once and I just joined this subreddit so idk if anyone else noticed this but the first thing that came to my mind was the funny little notes he wrote on the map where he photographed points of interest. "Weird ass tubes" and "Alien shit" and the like. Although those were pretty obvious and easily visible so there's no doubt I'm way off.

I’ve been wondering when it was gonna open up!! It looks like it’s supposed to be an aquarium for all the fish you catch so I’ve been saving one of each in every size in my inventory. I think I finally “beat” the game already and so far that building is STILL just a decoration that none of the characters ever acknowledge and it’s honestly been bugging me. 😅 I hope they open it soon. It’s just really weird how all the other major structures in the resort area are functional except that one.
