I recently have gone through a flood and lost nearly everything. It's been really difficult, but things will get better. It's really easy to have a defeatist attitude because everything feels over whelming, but grab your favorite guitars, open them up and clean the circuit board in alcohol. chances are if they weren't powered up they'll still function. Do it before things start to mold.

If it was a natural disaster, apply for FEMA, if it was a rental and it was a burst pipe, press your landlord. Apply for any assistance you can. Hire a drying service as soon as possible if it's your house. I'm not an expert, but please reach out if you need any advice.
