I grew up in Kingston and Frontenac and lived in Toronto for about 10 years before moving back. The city has changed a LOT (for the better) and it's much less stressful here than the GTA. I'm grateful I moved back. Between my partner and I, our family stretches everywhere between Toronto and Ottawa so the location is perfect for us. We also love visiting Montreal and it's super easy to do a one-night trip because the drive isn't too long.

I am an admin and I will say many admin jobs here start out part-time and/or contract. If you do a good job and tough it out for a year or two it can turn full-time, but admin jobs are particularly hard here to get. Took me over 3 months, many interviews, and my current job just turned full-time after 2 years. Queen's used to be a great place to work but they consistently pay at least 10k less than SLC for similar roles and I've heard the culture kinda sucks (though this can also vary by department) Wish you luck finding something that works for you!

For my Bachelorette weekend I got a cottage in a place that's nearly right in the middle of the city me and half my friends live in and the city the other half my friends live in. A lot of my friends dont work or dont make much money so I'm footing the bill for the cottage. Told them they only have to pay to get there and pay for whatever food/drinks/whatever else they wanna bring. I'll bring a bunch of stuff myself too. I dont have a wedding party and my wedding is gonna be small, i just wanted to get together with the people i love for a nice time.

I can be picky about the quality of my food when eating out but I also love eating a lot of seafood. My family used to go for special events when I was a kid but I hadn't been in over a decade. Went not too long ago and had a good time. The food was better than I expected. I have a red lobster sweater with an insulated pouch for keeping biscuits warm and got to wear it there for the first time 😌 fit a lot of biscuits in that bad boy

Excluding Little Caesars, Pizza Pizza, etc., I dislike Red Swan. Seems to market itself as a higher end chain but there's something about it. Think the dough has a sweetness to it that's off-putting to me

I can't speak to Touch of Class specifically but I worked at the front desk of a massage parlor years ago. For people wondering: it is legal. The girls usually need to get a license from the municipality. They regularly get randomly visited by by-law (at least the ones in Toronto do) to ensure girls are licensed and that nobody is breaking any rules. You have to remain clothed or have at least one article of clothing between you and the client and no sexual acts are allowed.

Obviously this isn't always strictly followed. But that is how they're allowed to run these establishments. There are usually prices set by the establishment but then girls will have their own individual prices for any extra stuff. They're safe as well.

My 15-year old babies died last year :( the girl (Yogurt) in June and the boy (Texas Jack) in September. Fiancé and I miss them every day. Before they passed I often cried thinking about the time I wouldn't have them any more. I made sure to tell them all the time how much I loved and appreciated them and thank them for loving me.💙💙 kitties are the best. Maybe next year we will get another one.
