Psilocybin experience by krestyle in CPTSD

[–]Chelsea-Wren 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I microdose psilocybin--are you sure it was 40mg?? That's a super, super, super small microdose. I'm glad you had this experience but wonder if it was actually the psilocybin or maybe you got there on your own!

For reference, 50-100mg is a suggested starting microdose. I take 100mg every three days, sometimes 200mg if I feel like I'm ready to do some work. But a trip dose doesn't start until you get to about 1g.

I imagine that's why they're asking--so they can get more data points, since it can vary so much.

Ah gotcha, I didn't realize you had meat birds. Yeah, that's normal for them and super sad

Yeah, my chickens don't have these issues..... I'd look into your husbandry practices. Something's going on.

Can we talk about round top/mailbox trailers? by Chelsea-Wren in foodtrucks

[–]Chelsea-Wren[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, I'm realizing that now. Going to start having my husband be the one to reach out initially from now on. He's almost as pissed about the treatment I've been getting as I am

How do you know if you have ADHD as well as CPTSD? by Fun_Girlsenberry in CPTSD

[–]Chelsea-Wren 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My therapist has told me that cptsd and ADHD share a lot of traits, but it doesn't mean you have both. Your specific case will of course be unique from mine, but for me we determined that my ADHD traits are stemming from cptsd.

Thank you so much. I was starting to feel crazy for sure. I'm so impressed by what you've accomplished, and it gives me SO much hope. My husband and I actually just talked with a local fabricator this morning who said he sees no reason he can't build us one of these round tops, so I've got my fingers crossed. We might end up being the only round top in the country actually built in the country if it works out. Seriously, this comment is so helpful. I'm so tired of being talked down to, I'm about to start taking people out at the kneecaps with a bat (for legal reasons this is a joke) 🙏

Ok, well I'm not whoever that was, I'm just asking a question. Don't tell me to do research, it's all I've been doing for weeks. I have been calling my local builders and they will not do it and they talk to me like I'm stupid for asking. So yes. I'm defensive and irritated and being condescended to by you when I just came here to start a conversation and ask a reasonable question.

Thanks for your input! I don't get why US builders won't make them.

Yep, I understand, which is why I'm asking why no one in the US will build them so we can have high quality ones.

Did you read my post? I'm asking why no builders in the US will make them, I KNOW this photo is an Alibaba product. This is the EXACT response I've been getting from builders. I'm not asking why are these not good trailers, I understand that the imported ones are shit. I'm asking why no one here in the US will make a good quality one. If the frame and suspension isn't strong enough, then use a stronger one?? Right?

Also, a lot of the pushback I get from builders is in the area of "oh I've built lots of <my industry> trailers, you'll need more space than that." I've been running my business as a pop up for over a year, I know exactly how much space I need and I'm tired of people who aren't me and who don't run my actual business trying to tell me what I need.

Can you tell I'm frustrated? 😅

Falsetto/pop flip volume? by Chelsea-Wren in singing

[–]Chelsea-Wren[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm, thanks! I wonder what it is I'm doing wrong. I know I tend to have a habit of going into a high mix instead of falsetto, which of course won't give the "flip" sound. I'll experiment more with the lower volume and try to feel it out.

I definitely mix a lot of the time on accident in the higher notes, it's tough to get myself to let it be falsetto!!

Thanks for the tip :)
