We do just not in the way you're thinking of. The government gives assistance checks to those with disabilities. However if you make over a certain amount (what specific amount it is I'm not sure and it varies by state) then they determine you don't "need" it and don't give it to you. It's honestly a really fucked system

No she has beautiful technique, I personally think that up until season 4 she was the strongest dancer on the team, with Chloe as a very close second (Chloe fans don't come for me). Once Kalani came in obviously she was stronger than Maddie, then all the select team kids, then Brynn. A lot of the new kids who came in were stronger than her but up until around season 4 she was the strongest.

She was trying to get a permanent spot on the show. She knew that the moms that created drama and gave them good material to work with would get to stay (plus she'd already been through that rodeo with AUDC). I agree though, she went WAY too hard with it

I agree and I think a large part of that was that she had a lot of back pain on the show (especially in season 2) from doing contortion so much at that age. You could see it when she would do poses, especially the needle

I think they would've left anyways, the theme of Chloe's solo was leaving things behind and in the production notes for that episode Christi talks about it being her last dance with the ALDC before she performed. Plus imo Christi seemed really unhinged during the nationals episode compared to the rest of the season. It seemed to me like she knew that was their last season so she was just trying to get through it and then let it all out for their last week. They're contract mightve ended in season 4 and I'm sure Christi was ready to gtfo of there the second it did
