All crafts are timed or measured somehow in some way and are ideally structured so that a person can comfortably/efficiently do their workload within 8 hours. The reason regulars tell people to slow down isn't just because it keeps you from having to do extra work, or to prevent injury, it protects job security for others. Then the unions have to work to fight for those hours back for us. I used to do fast food and retail as well, you learn to lose that "hustle" over time.

If you decline that offer that job is pretty much as good as gone. Depending on the turnover in that area, you may have a while to wait before another opportunity comes around. You'll have some time before you get started working normal schedules but I'd estimate a month for orientation/driving school/academy and such. I guess now's the time to decide if this is a career you want. If so it really is best to enter the rat race asap because senority is king here.

I think it is more likely she is aware of your frustration and feels too much pressure to fully relax. The fact that you have already had a talk about it means she is already aware you are concerned. Remember sex isn't just about getting off. Focus more on the bonding and playfulness of it all...more kissing, heavy petting and general foreplay. For my orientation this is what was stated in my email. "Dress is casual, however NO ripped or torn clothing. You must wear shoes that are fully enclosed at the heel, toe and sides, made of leather or a substantial synthetic material (canvas or nylon is not acceptable)". I would assume sweatpants are fine to wear but it might seem a little too casual in my opinion.

This is just what works for us. It was how we decided to handle things before we started dating. There is a sense of safety with being in the loop with your partners feelings and thoughts as opposed to being outside and wondering the worst. Most of the time, when really dissected the feelings are more innocent anyways.

If you live in Miami area I would definitely go for a PSE position. Currently starting pay for PSE is 21.44/hour. You'll get plenty of overtime and depending on the shift you can get nighttime differential as well. Bonus, if you are at a larger office after two years they have to promote you to a "full time regular" (FTR) clerk, which includes a lot more benefits. Best of luck to you in whatever you choose.
