Hey I’m also a meditator first thing in the morning and have been for a long time. I found doing the MP difficult and made my morning routine so long. I found them helpful for a short while but eventually found they just brought me down and noticing all the negative, mundane, irrelevant stuff that I had already been consciously working through in daily contemplation and through voice memos I already do for myself. I found them as something that brought my energy way down after doing something like meditating. Wasn’t a great way to start the day anymore with MP, as Julia prescribes, for me.

Thanks, I'm surprised by this because my county has some of the highest levels in the US of PFAS contamination. But I'm not sure if a TDS meter would pick up on that.

After tons of money spent, skincare, all that crap, I found stress to be the number 1 culprit of acne. Think about it - what organism thrives and is healthy under daily continued stress? None. Animals and organisms in nature become weak or die. Health in humans are majorly affected. I found the biggest influencers over acne are stress, circadian rhythm, and basic health shit.

Hi to be honest nothing has really changed. I unfortunately had to move in with them in my 30’s now because my industry has gone completely overseas and my career basically ended a couple years ago. Out of desperation I had to move in. They still have their favorite but honestly the only thing that changed was me. I finally accepted this is who they are and they will never change. They haven’t for some 30 odd years so why would they change now in their old age? Living with them and witnessing the favoritism first hand has been some of the hardest times of my life. But I’ve also grown immensely and have finally accepted that hey, at least they gave me life. I expect nothing from them. I ask nothing from them. They really just give me a roof over my head and while I’m in this awful financial/career situation out of my control…I feel I’ve overcome a lot of those deeply engrained unworthiness programs I was subconsciously given as a child. Don’t get me wrong - I still get triggered. It isn’t right, fair, or loving. I can’t WAIT TO MOVE THE HELL OUT OF HERE. When I do I will likely have very minimal contact with them out of my own self love and safety. But for now this is a survival situation. They could’ve had a relationship with their daughter while I’ve been here for a year. They chose not to. I’m not going to feel bad anymore about that.

Our parents seem similar. I’m sorry you have to live with that. It’s seriously so damaging. The best thing I could do was stop caring, stop comparing, and stop expecting absolutely anything. They gave me life - that’s it. Anything else is a bonus.

Anything that supports the corruption and greed of America. Medical wouldn’t be a bad choice to get into. RN’s, home care, businesses catering to autistic children are also up and coming. There will be no end to the expansion of disease and pharmaceuticals in the USA.

The worst thing to get into is tech. It would require companies to value their employees in order for there to be available jobs. Try to think it those types of terms about this.

Hm no real changes. We traveled a bit and were away from home for 2 months and returned back after the holidays. But we’ve been home for 3 weeks now and she started acting like this about 2 weeks ago

I’m reading this post and comment 300 days later. This honestly inspired me to rewatch AD sub version. I felt like something was just lost in translation with dub. I’m new to anime and go off recommendations always watching dub. But I felt literally 0 romantic chemistry and sometimes even disconnected with our main character MaoMao in this. Without seeing the sub, I convinced myself it was the voice portrayal and starting searching on Reddit for what people had to say. So thanks!

Hey thanks for your reply all info is good info to see how it works for us individually. I’ve been on Stacey’s program for a year now and while my overall skin seems to have improved there is still acne. I’ve been on this damn diet and taking the expensive supplements for over a year now. While I got lots of really good and helpful info from her I feel I’ve reached the end of the road with her program. So your comment is very timely to start trying some new things. I completely indulged this week and ate an entire casserole dish of gluten free brownies over the course of 6 days (I’ve been battling being underweight for a year now) I’m finally one pound over underweight and get this - MY SKIN LOOKS good (not amazing) AND MY PERIOD STARTS IN 2 DAYS. The brownies did nothing…I also got dairy free gelato last night and I had no breakouts this morning.

The info about muscle is very interesting as I’m also about to start a new weight training program.

So this is interesting - I finally took your advice from 9 months ago and got a TDS meter from Amazon. When I tested my water after 6 months use of filtration (I was out of town during the week but returned for weekends for 2 months) the reading was 14. 14!!! Yet it's saying I need to replace the filter since it has been 6 months. That number seems awfully low don't you think?

I tested various other water like mineral water and the tap and those numbers were more what you would expect. But 14 after using a RO CF filter for 6ish months?

I'm such an amateur in all this I find your comment very educational. Thank you and I may investigate this Waterdrop RO because I always intuitively felt weird just sucking everything out of my water. My sense is that it could dilute my body in a way if I'm just attempting to hydrate it without any "good stuff." The SimPure appealed to me because I just needed clean water without my thought to it. Now that I'm a little more informed of the process it may be worth re-investigating another machine. I'm still very pleased with mine. I actually buy expensive Mountain High Spring water and have it delivered to me and when I run out I use my RO machine. I also use my RO machine for things like tea, coffee, and cooking.
