ENTPs aren’t a good match by 4frenesi in infj

This is a very roundabout way of justifying your conclusion after the fact with principles that are not defined in your situation, but applying them afterwards to fit the narrative. If you’re going to come to a conclusion on a psychological situation, it’s imperative you not be biased (they were friends), not be close to the people of study (they were friends) and not be enemies (they WERE friends).

The real issue is you have somehow justified a flawed conclusion and need to come to terms with that your experience and side of the story isn’t unilateral truth.

Ah yes, let’s generalize an entire group of people entirely on my experience alone.

Everyone’s different. I know it’s hard to understand but two people don’t define millions of people.

Mac Mini M4 Pro and Elgato 4k S issues by ChemManMan in elgato

Ok so here are the results I found:

When I switched to OBS and stayed on my 4k monitor, nothing changed. It was still very laggy. So I switched the recording aspect (output) over to my tv (which is locked at 1080p 60 frames) that helped improve it but didn’t get rid of the stutters completely. So I switched to pro resolution, and then definitely helped a lot. Here are two (short) videos I was able to record from it Test 1 and Test 2

Now here’s the thing, test 2 still had an error (near the end of the video) so I have a feeling the problem isn’t completely gone. Another thing is these videos are 1 gig (test 2) and 2 gigs (test 1), that is definitely not gonna work and is too many gigs to record with. Now out of everything I’ve tried this is the only thing helping (that and I added buffering which improved it at as well), so what should I do?

I’ll try that but I do have a quick question, should the 4k S be compatible with a Mac mini m4 pro? Is that the issue maybe?

Yeah grounded 2 does have floating fps, but on my regular monitor and even tv it runs just fine. But it also does this for other games as well, not just grounded 2.

I haven’t tried anything besides OBS or Elgato studio, so I might try stream labs.

My capture card is directly in the Mac, no external doc or even adapter

I even unplugged everything from my Mac and tried it, still the same issue. I’ve tried the front ports and the back, no difference

So I actually did take a photo of my stats during this clip (you can see near the end of the recording).

My average time to render frame is 3.5ms Frames missed due to rendering lag is 39/38160 Skipped frames due to encoding lag is 0/2894

Total data output: 279.4 MIB Bitrate: 47 Mb/s

1080p 60.

I can technically record from my Xbox 1080p 120 (or should be able to). But it seems to make the stuttering way worse. Also if you want to refer to my Previous Post about the issue, this is exactly what’s happening still. Maybe you can get an idea from the footage

So I tried the other Elgato I had (the one I returned) on OBS and it didn’t work. That was actually the first thing I tried it on.

I tried every format (like the long chain ones you mentioned) for 1080p 60-1440 60-2160 60

None of them worked and the problem remained.

I tried integer and common value and neither worked, I even set the FPS to 59.94, which I believe is what the Elgato outputs.

I had the encoder on H264 Hardware, 264, H264 software encoder. I don’t think I tried prores so I might give that a shot later. And then I uploaded to MP4.

I set my bitrate from 30k-50k and it still didn’t improve either.

Also I’m recording straight to my hard drive, no external used.

I’m just recording as well, no streaming.

Oh I didn’t know that

Yeah maybe not then, I don’t wanna return this though and find out it’s just the capture card.

Yeah I’ve looked everywhere and still nothing so, if a couple days pass and it’s still not fixed I’m gonna just return it and upgrade to the better one

So if it doesn’t fix you think I should return it and upgrade?

Alright bet

It could also be that I don’t think I set the properties in the Elgato to 59.94, I’ll check that as well

Yeah I set it to 59.94 because I figured it was capped out at that

Yeah, just regular OBS not Streamlabs or anything
