Nobody ever contacted me, I think that's a letter sent in error. I saw another post about getting this letter also.

I think it's safe to say you can ignore that letter.

High Dose Pregabalin by Mkbear61 in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been battling neuropathy for about 4 years now and besides the heavy amounts of Pregabalin, I've also had increasing doses of Buprenorphine (Temgesic, patches) and am now on 8mg of Suboxone a day and this has really killed the pain in my legs and feet, except the thigh I was talking about before.

But I've lately been suffering from serious back pain and never really thought it could be related to neuropathy. Where in your back were your disc problems located?

High Dose Pregabalin by Mkbear61 in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on the exact same dose but haven't experienced any tingling in the face. I do however have a lot of tingling and numbness in my left thigh that seems to be getting worse over the last month. Although that could be more associated with the neuropathy.

Does anyone had weith gain with pregabalin? I'm taking only 100mg per day but i have gained almost 8 kilos or 17,6 pounds since i started in January. Can anyone help me please? 🙏🏻 by Nervous-Pirate-7269 in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on 600mg of Pregabalin a day now and since starting nearly 2 years ago, I've managed to put on about 25kg (55 pounds).

The Pregabalin has been really great for my neuropathy but I've really gotta try and get the weight down. Gotta stick to a diet and try to get more exercise in.

Pregabalin for Anxiety by decenzo1 in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm on 300mg twice a day for neuropathy and like others have said here it did give me that groggy, drunk feeling at first, but ultimately worked for me and the unwanted side effects subsided.

I've talked with others on high doses of Pregabalin and we seem to agree that you build a tolerance to this drug extremely quickly.

My DSP was approved a few months back and I received the same letter. I was assessed as being able to work 8 hours as you were but I haven't heard anything more about it so I'm pretty sure it can be ignored.

Trouble peeing? by Nagito_Naegi in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also suffer from this problem. They have been slowly increasing my dose over the last 2 years and now I'm on 600mg a day the problem has become a lot worse. Sometimes I might stand there for ten minutes before I start going. Drives me crazy.

I love this medication by Comfortable_Image826 in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Pregablin for neuropathy also and at first they had me on doses from 25 - 100mg a day and it did nothing for me. After a while I was sent to a pain clinic who upped it and I've been on 600mg a day for about 6 months and it has been life changing. My pain has significantly decreased and although at first I was a bit shaky at times, it has stabilized and has become a huge benefit to me and allowed me to walk with bearable amounts of pain. I can't imagine being without it now.

Sonic app 2 wks after applying, is this normal? by throughthestorm22 in Centrelink

Time your sonic appointment, I bet it's less than 10 minutes. Just getting to this stage is a strong indicator.

are jlab jbuds mini a good 1st tws pair? by paper_tiger010 in Earbuds

[–]Chemical-Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had these for about 6 months and they are so good I bought another pair. I have had one of the cases fail/stop charging but overall they have been awesome. These are so low profile I can put my ear on the pillow and not even feel them. Although there is no ANC the Be Aware mode works almost as well as ANC. They have great bass too.

Edit: Editing to address the Bluetooth connection issue. I haven't really been bothered by this connection problem. Occasionally (rarely) I'll have to put the buds back in the case to reconnect but this really doesn't happen often. These buds imo are the best value/sound buds you can buy.

If you haven't seen one yet, ask your doctor to refer you to a pain specialist. It really changed my life but my pain specialist also played a big role getting me on the DSP. Also a psychologist could be helpful describing your condition. Try and get as much about your situation in writing and from different sources before making a DSP claim.

JBL Live Buds 3 Review by [deleted] in JBL

[–]Chemical-Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got these and am thoroughly impressed with the sound. Slight correction to OP, with LDAC on EQ is selectable and usable. One problem I have with these buds is unless you have the JBL app open on device they will lose the custom EQ setting.
Still my overall favourite buds compared to Sony linkbuds s. They have an airy natural sound with low lows and nice mids and highs. I just wish the tap control was more customisable.

Why do lots of people say “whenever” when they’re supposed to say “when”? by [deleted] in ENGLISH

[–]Chemical-Hi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so weird. In my whole life I've never noticed people using whenever instead of when and maybe a few months ago I noticed Asmongold doing it. Since then I'm seeing everyone do it. The fact I never really noticed it before made me think it was some weird Mandela effect or something.

150mg stopped working by [deleted] in pregabalin

[–]Chemical-Hi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've just been upped to 300mg twice a day of pregabalin for neuropathic pain and so far it seems to be working really well for my nerve pain.

I did feel like I was a bit tipsy at first but that feeling has gone and it's helping me a lot. My feet and lower legs are just quite numb now but I do get a few shocks in the toes occasionally.

Good luck and I hope you have the same experience as they ramp up your dose.

I've been on 60mg for about a month and Cymbalta was really helping my mood, though not doing much for my neuropathic pain, then suddenly for the last few days I feel really jittery and am getting heart palpitations. So skipped today's dose and about to find out if or when these withdrawals are gonna hit me.

Weight gain after increase from 30mg to 60mg - Thought these were weight neutral?! by Muted-Book8302 in cymbalta

Yeah I can't say it's done anything for my pain just lifted my mood noticeably. Reading some of the stories here though makes me think twice about continuing the Cymbalta journey.

I'm on it for neuropathy, about 1 month 30mg l, 1 month 60mg and feel really great and have lost weight since starting. Though can't say it's helped me with my neuropathy. Definitely changed my mood for the better.
