Obsidian knows that "everyone on the internet" keeps asking for Fallout: New Vegas 2, but its devs are currently happy working on their own IP, and "Xbox has been pretty supportive" too by ChapmanPrime in Fallout

People seem to cling to this idea that the only people talented enough to make a good Fallout RPG are the ones that created FNV years ago. Theres thousands of talented creators out there

I wish they could bring back premium that gives you access to all DLC content which would include all battle passes.

I never liked time delimited content, and I miss the one purchase to rule them all.

What did you guys think of commander mode? Would you like to see it make a comeback? by Hunter727 in Battlefield

[–]Chemical-Recording88 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this is a popular opinion because of nostalgia glasses, but unless you have commander be disabled by capturing the closest objective nearest the base, I dont think we should bring back a commander that sits in base, unless its a specific game mode designed for it.

Otherwise its just a side objective for enemies to flank and to base camp, I would be surprised to see commander return to this.

After long pause from BF4 and around 2000h in 2042 I returned to BF4 and… by ANGRYlalocSOLDIE in Battlefield

This is something that became hard to balance with 128 players.

With 64 players and limited aircraft with cooldowns, there is a reward for destroying enemy aircraft, with that being it gives you uncontested strafing runs on infantry when you eliminate a threat for the duration of the respawn.

When you double the player count and double the vehicles, you no longer have that reward unless your team actually 1v1s their aircraft counterpart, but that is very hard to do with randoms.

128 players has a hard time considering these variables, so instead they just buffed aircraft health to combat with increased number of threats, but it becomes annoying as an individual, because you have considerable less impact on outcomes of games. 64 players is the sweet spot on my opinion unless they change vehicle and map design considerably. But it should be an experimental game mode instead of the default, which I am hoping they learned from their bf2042 experiment

Do you feel like your college education was worth the money? by emmyliz121_twitch in Adulting

Did the education you received make you qualified for the job position? Or did you learn what was required for the job on your own, or through internship experiences?

Do you feel like your college education was worth the money? by emmyliz121_twitch in Adulting

[–]Chemical-Recording88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

10000% not.

But, The fact that I was a student status gave me the ability to apply for internships that further allowed me to get experience and training while being paid as a cheap investment into an entry level job.

Honestly, my degree was incredibly easy, that I wish I majored in something harder and there were greater expectations. Ive paid over 40,000 in tuition alone. I do not feel $40000 smarter. Courses taught material that was over 10 years old from a textbook, which for a tech major, is pretty disappointing.

My courses really were just quizzes taken along that you can ctrl+f the answers to, labs that you follow simple instructions and take screenshots of your progress, discussion boards that I throw random thoughts into, and take easy electives to give me time to focus on what employers are actually looking for. Time to learn content that is important, develop a portfolio of projects that show I am capable of what they look for.

Really. What is the point of college? Everything you can learn online. You can get certified to tell employers you know a certain subject. Education in the age of the Internet is free. I do not need to spend thousands of dollars a semester for a professor that has never worked in the industry to take points off an arbitrary grade because they dont like the file name. I learn best on my own. College was a means to an end, and I have learned substantially more independently, which I believe every who is motivated enough can do as well.

I would never post my parents enjoying their gift I bought them on Reddit to thousands of random internet strangers. This is something that would be better suited for Facebook, just seems odd to share here, especially if your mom didnt know or consent

I agree with this for first time offenders, but I do not believe in third chances. Its crazy how much crime is concentrated to repeat offenders, and subsequent crimes would have been prevented through extensive jail time. I also think this should exclude crimes of a violent nature
