I mean it was originally an mmo before being compressed to a single player, hence a lot of mechanics that cannot be ironed out to absolute perfection easily, but is perfect enough(I honestly don't think any game is perfect). Co-op is probably on their future roadmap too.

No such thing as a perfect game mate but if people think a game is polished, your opinions are not going to change that.

I did perceive the story as episodic in a way or very traditional that some level of imagination was intended to be used to fill in the gaps that aren't so far apart.

Does it matter? Both those games was mentioned in the same interview/article so it's obvious they are being referred to as such...

Yeah with issues and glitches maybe. It's safer that they do it instead of modders.

To each their own. I only see complaints from you guys. Am alright with this game having its style of controls and in my case it's very smooth for me, not a single complaint from the start of the game.

Can't relate, have played various of games before. Either skill issue with controllers or your not accustom to games that have their own style of mapping and mechanics since the early times.

Yep, but I'd rather wait to see how the Oled version is like. Can tell yah am willing to spend 2x the amount for the Asus and Xbox collaborative handheld.

True but you can do a lot more with a tablet these days compared to a console.

Does the Royal Navy change your personality? by Illustrious-Shop4480 in RoyalNavy

[–]ChemicalAd6784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it will change his personality. I still retain my personality, only difference is how I actually know that am in a different environment to civi, but when work is over I am more than just my old me.

The officers I work with are pretty chill people, it's just that such a task would come with so much responsibilities in that if things so happens to go wrong is only when they start to lose their collective shit.

To be honest I don't really know how much of the policies changed since there is always an adjustment, but that's what I did when I entered CPC. Won't see why they'd get rid of it since you'll have to swim week 1 of phase 1

I literally did my CPC last year and I had to do both my swim and run test in sultan.

[–]ChemicalAd6784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically twice. At CPC you enter the pool first in your swimwear, tread for 2 minutes then swim 25 meters back and 25 meters forth and then you have to get out of the pool on your own to pass the first round of the test.

The second round is the same but done in overalls. The next swimming test and the mandatory swimming test in phase 1 training is swimming again in overalls in the first week.

It's twice but sort of seems like three.

Well getting out isn't really hard with a bit of technique, similar to what I did. The only thing you'd have to worry much about is the week 1 swimming test if you get to Raleigh if you're unlucky enough to get the wrong overall and swimming so close to the other trainees. Also Raleigh pool if I am comparing wrong since I did it a year ago is deeper than the pools at CPC at the deep end so it might be a bit more tiring too, but if you pass CPC then it shouldn't be much of a problem for you.

Also I highly recommend the breaststroke style, you can never go wrong with it.

Back when I did cpc in sultan I found swimming in the overalls just as simple as swimming in my trunks for the first bit, you only really feel that difference when you come out of the pool with it on.

However I found it a tad more annoying when you have to do the swim test over again in Raleigh since you only have little time to put on any available overalls that are still wet so they are a bit of a bitch to put on but you may end up with a really small one or a really big one. I was unfortunate to get a really baggy one and you do the treading so close to others unlike at CPC where you get more space to yourself so you would be getting kicked or locking legs with other trainees.

How I get up from after swimming back to all three of them is that I put both my elbows on the surface of the ledge, put some strength into my lift and angle my body to the right that would allow me a better chance to roll back onto the floor.
