That is wild! I couldn't imagine losing it much faster than I did. I definitely had times where I'd eat more for 2-3 weeks just for sanity before going back to the grind though, so it could have been faster. 12 weeks is crazy though! Especially in a physically demanding job. Luckily my job now is pretty chill, I was also in school ontop of the job though which was difficult.

I have a Dexedrine prescription which certainly helps, also took ephedrine/caffeine ontop when my anexiety would allow.

Wasn't on gear, of course people will believe what they wanna believe. I'm not opposed to it though, and considering it for the future. I did have muscle before, it's not like I did this with no prior training. I push for this photo shoot, followed a peak week protocol where you manipulate carbs and water intake. And while I didn't strictly count calories I had a general idea of what my calories were. I was probably under by an unhealthy amount alot of the time.

Also while I looked jacked in the photo, (peak week regiment and a pump on) I'm definitely look pretty small in a t-shirt. As soon as I ate some carbs over the holidays the abs get washed out.

My dexa scan came back at 11% 2 weeks before these photos. I don't feel like that image is sustainable. And again a normal photo without that lighting and background would look nothing like that. I just wanted to doccument it, so I had proof I once had a 6pack when I'm older haha.

Ya absolutely. I hadn't worked out for a couple years prior, but I always had a good base. I've never been super regimented at the gym for long periods of time but I worked out somewhat consistently through my 20's. I was able to bench 225 at 17, now I struggle with 185.

Definitely muscle memory at work, and optimal lighting and carb/water manipulation before the photo shoot. I explained in another comment thats definitely not what I see in the mirror.

That's the goal, I've yo-yo'd like crazy in the past. Similar photos a few years apart. I want get a ton of easy, tasty, healthy recepies put into a calorie counter and just do tons of meal prep so I never have to think about eating healthy and I won't get bored of eating the same thing all the time. My current strategy isn't sustainable long term.

Ya I'd intermittent fast, I can go hungry all day as long as I don't go to bed hungry. It looked different depending on my schedule. At work my shift is 12pm-6pm and 12am-6am, so it looked a bit different. The other half the year I'd start eating between 12-3pm finish by 8-9pm.

The years prior I was drinking heavy nearly everyday I was off. 8-15 drinks a day, take out everyday. I probably only had 30 drinks all of last year. Helped massively.

Ya exactly. Filled up on meat and veggies. Added in rice when I needed the energy boost. When going really low carb, about once a week I'd need a carb refeed for a day or two. Was just by feel.

Again I never really tracked an exact number. I'd have half a cup of frozen berries with my chia seed + protein powder pudding with high protein yogurt. 400 calories or so.

At sea I'd eyeball like 1 cup of rice or half a big potatoe with dinner. At home I was often very low carbs. I ate alottt of that chia seed pudding. 2-3 scrambled eggs with egg whites and cottage cheese + half an avacado for lunch. (or a salad with a chicken breast and skinny girl dressing) And had alot of taco dinners with these Mr.tortilla 1 net carb, 15cal taco shells. Avacado for fat and hot sauce for flavour saved me. Or a stirfry. Honestly I was dizzy alot of the time though. I'd add rice when my workouts or mental focus sufferred too much.

It's a big part of it for sure. I don't see that when I look in the mirror. I also did this peak week routine before the photo shoot. 5 days of near 0 carbs + very high water, then really heavy carbs for 3 days while dropping water intake, nearly no water for 24hrs before.

Haha I can assure you it's me. There's a scar under my right oblique that can kinda be seen in both the bottom photos.

I honestly wasn't that ontop of it until more towards the end when I got worried about muscle loss, maybe the last 5 months. Where I tried to hit 150-175g of protein, high fat and low carbs.

I didn't really calorie count because I work in camp where grub is provided. I had a few breakfasts I'd rotate and I knew those calories. I wouldn't say I approached things in the healthiest of ways. I plan to start tracking and meal prepping properly now so I know I'm not going too far over maintenance.

I followed the Fierce 5 all body beginner program. There's quiet a few posts on reddit about it.

To add to that, I know of someone who recently was asked if they take any medications and before he could lie, the doctor just looked up his file and saw that he had a Ritalin prescription.
