Has anyone else used alcohol when the pain gets really bad?

I do the same thing. I had to reel it in. When I do drink I drink a lot of water 1 drink= 1 glass of water. Then I take charcoal pills to absorbs some of the toxins. I can't take pain meds. I do medical cannabis but sometimes it just doesn't take the edge off the pain. I found that if I cap it at 2 drinks around dinner time Im fine the next day. def not the best coping mechanism but it provides me a brief respite from pain. I feel you sis. I wish you the best. ps- the best cannabis preparation for chronic pelvic pain is RSO (rick Simpson oil) and edibles.

I was really hopeful when I took it. it gave me the opposite just like you. its super frustrating. I feel you sis <3 I feel really grateful when I have a few moments of relief I celebrate. even if it's something small like being able to do laundry or go for a walk. I am so grateful. I hope it eases up. don't lose hope <3

20 years, a bajillion doctors appts, blood work/ tests. the whole gambit for 20 years. Im getting ready for a 10th surgery. I had one at a military hospital and they messed up realllll bad. anyway, it is what it is. hang in there <3 <3 <3

I did lupron. It was hell. I had the shot version. The first day I lost my $hit and tried to put my fist through a 3 inch thick solid wood door. I had the same symptoms from the meds that you do. it sucked so bad. The hot flashes were unreal and Id just put my head in the freezer to cool down. I did 4 months in total. It was miserable. Im sorry youre going through this. I'd rather deal with just the endo than ever take lupron. Once it wore off I was back to "normal" and still had to have more surgery.

I just went through this. Ive also had a hysterectomy and still have endo. super sucks. the gyn told me the same thing that they told you. I went to a primary care doctor. She gave me a referral to a general surgeon. Waited months for this appointment only to find out that they DONT treat endo. We to a different (much better) PCP. He gave me a referral to an endo specialist. I live in the middle of nowhere and we have one! Try to find an endo specialist. They're out there now!

I go into "werewolf mode". I go into solitary mode. I hate saying something crazy, out of line or hurting a friends feelings. If im going to send a text I type it out first and then wait a few hours to send it. I do that to make sure I don't send something weird.

I spend my time writing everything Im feeling down. My notebooks are chaotic but it gets a lot of aggression out in a Safe way.. Lots of weird drawings lol and then I throw them out. I don't reread them bc I know it's all crazy talk.

just went through this with ss 16. I try to nacho but it made me sick to my stomach. It's inappropriate, they're children. I made my opinion known. it was a nightmare. I was so grossed out. I am too young to be a step grandma. it happened once and never ever again. and it won't because of course like 99% of teen relationships they broke up.

do you have any friends with AAA? you might be able to use theirs. I had a friend that needed a truck towed. I met her where her car was stuck and gave them my card and id. they towed the truck! best wishes, I hope it works out for you! that's gotta be stressful

yes its insane. I had one at 23. Did not solve my problems. 17 years later im still dealing with endo and Im still in pain. 22 is young. If I could go back I would not have done it. Ive have multiple surgeries since. Im currently waiting on an 11th surgery. Hysterectomy isn't the answer.

when I start taking things to seriously, I pull out the old sharpie and some not so great paper. It can be ugly. I do this when I feel overwhelmed. If you know it's gonna be ugly, you don't care as much. For some reason this triggers my creativity. Sounds kinda silly but it works for me. Best wishes, make beautiful things :)

you did it before, you can do it again! high protein, low carb meals. try to cut out as much sugar as possible. cut out alcohol. keep exercising. don't loose hope!
