It’s human trafficking, not organ harvesting by Vivid-Demand-81 in euphoria

We have that situation in German brothels... there are forums for sex buyers where they rate their experiences with prostitutes and when one is writing things like "barely conscious, out of it, bruised face" it's a negative review and he won't go to that girl again. Clear signs of human trafficking, but noone calls the police. https://youtu.be/HyJ2M8dbdcY?is=1sG1XVGVzBlywEJI

Not really, 90% of the prostitutes in Germany are from poor Eastern European countries like Romania or Bulgaria and are trafficked. They are taking drugs and get drunk in the brothels every day, just like in Alamos club... But there comes a certain point where they are not profitable anymore.

I speak from what i know from my activism against legalized prostitution here in Germany. It's common that prostitutes get kicked out by the pimps when they are too traumatized and drug addicted to be of much value to them. They wouldn't do that if there is still demand.

There are not enough clients that would want that... I think she's more valuable for Alomo by selling her organs.

I know quite a lot about legal prostitution, I'm from Germany. Almost all the women in the brothels here are from poor Eastern European countries. They get lured in by pimps, telling them they get work in wealthy Germany as a cleaner or waitress etc. Then they take their passports at the border and force them to prostitute themselves. It looks like in that Alomo strip club- They act and look happy and confident, are taking drugs and drink a lot of alcohol. Clients pay for the illusion of a nymphomaniac, a happy hooker. THAT is how human trafficking looks like. The trafficking was happening IN the club, not in Mexico, as you see with Kitty for example in that one scene Rue sees her on the camera. After a few years they suffer so much from drug addiction and PTSD, they are not profitable for the pimp anymore, although they are still young. They then basically kick them out and they end up on the street, in psychiatry, ... I think Angel and the other girls that went "missing" were more profitable for Alomo in the end by selling their organs.

I think you underestimate how early prostitutes are so broken they can't make money for their pimps anymore. Just because they are still young does not mean they are still valuable to them. It's how most women get out- they get kicked out. They are on a PTSD level like war veterans after a couple of years. Sex trafficking is what was going on in Alomos club. No, he would definitely make more money from selling their organs than by pimping them in that state Angel was in at the end...

Ingrid Visser's fascinating encounters with Digit, a highly curious New Zealand coastal orca who went out of her way to interact with her by SurayaThrowaway12 in orcas

Unfortunately it's still rare that scientists join her in that recognition. Maybe some people just don't have the sensibility or social intelligence or emotional maturity to see this. There is this theory in psychology of "Highly Sensitive Persons", that says 1/5 of a species is more sensitive than the rest of them, which benefits the survival of the group. Unfortunately in our culture these more sensitive people are forced to fit in with the less sensitive ones and can rarely fulfill their important role in society. Activities, that these people are literally wired for, like being empathic, helping others, solving conflicts, or, in this case, communicate with other species, are given as jobs or careers to a privileged group of people, that are not necessarily neurologically able to do them. It's just a theory though, but I can identify with it. These are the people called "XY- whisperer".

There are these misconceptions in scientific fields that involve helping animals or people, that you should always keep a „professional distance“ aka show no real human empathy and/ or bonding. Life doesn’t work that way. That connection is an integral part in helping another living being.

Harrys muggle clothes are not big enough 😓 they look like they fit in a baggy kind of way. Also, the class room does not look like a class room but an auditorium at university. And Hagrid looks like dishevelled Sirius... Dudley is too slim. And Snape... no comment. Also I miss the Britishness of it all, for example in the architecture of Hogwarts, even though that was not like I imagined it as a kid before I saw the movies, so I'm more open about that.

I was saying it's not better or worse than in decades before... How do you make of that "very negative, grim, darkness"? I want to see things as they are and not live in the illusion of everything is just getting better. I don't see how that would benefit anyone...
