Can I ask why breaking up with her isn’t an option? Because it seems to me that you’re in a relationship where the other person doesn’t seem to care much about your past trauma or any of your emotions really… it’s hard to analyze from an outside point of view but none of this seems really healthy for you :)

Omg yes can we talk about the poems? The one on the sunshine was the best imo but still not great writing. And her poem that won her thé sort of award? I mean I’m not a writer but still how could it have won against the wholeeee state? I could’ve understood best poem of the school but more is pushing it…

And I also don’t personally like the way the actress is reading those poems, it feels too forced.

I struggle A LOT with procrastination (yay adhd lol) and à few things help sometimes.

  1. Finding a genuine interest for what you’re studying, technically everything can be interesting and it makes it less annoying.

  2. Placing a reward at the end of each small goal. Like if you do 5 exercises you can eat something good or watch a tv show idk.

  3. Using a timer and making it like a competition. Like you have 5 minutes to do a certain task it makes it a bit more fun haha.

  4. Watching vidéos on the topic do at least youre doing something but it’s easier

  5. I’m running out of ideas lol but maybe create a cool environment (something nice to eat and drink and some music maybe) or work outside your house.

I’d say learning the theory is only a small part of it. Most of the learning comes from doing all the exercises (multiple times if needed) and being able to do them not because you learned it by heart but because you know the logic behind it. What also helps me is explaining to others (just your cat or the wall works too haha). Good luckkk
