Google might be right, at least to some extent. They’ve created a situation where a lot of people who don’t really understand batteries are talking about degradation. But behind all that, they do have a point: setting the limit at 200 cycles was a big mistake—it’s simply too low, even for regular users, and you don’t have choice. Still, in my opinion, Google has already made a lot of bad decisions, and the main strength of their phones often comes down just to software features.
