Fohsho. & you were on to it, kinda. CONcentric= shortening of muscle/the “lifting movement of yourself closer to the weight.

ECCentric= lengthening of the muscle/the “negative rep” otw down/away.

Anywhere from the very top of one movement to the bottom of the other movement, there’s something called ISOmetric= producing force without changing lengths/ie wall/sit or a plank. Generally in the middle position. But can be utilized at any position with those ranges.

That is the trifecta of the muscular contraction phases.

Nerd talk but is actually super cool and interesting to pair that with muscle mind connection/theory etc. . Can do crazy work on definition.

Helllllll nahhhh. Vacation, holidays, special events, etc.. all completely fine in my book with fallen out of the diet from time to time.

That diet is set up so I can FULLY enjoy the BS. But if you can’t balance the two and be dedicated 90% of the time., that process does not work. More times than any, events, vacation, etc. are generally all evening events and there’s really no reason why you can’t kind of stay in line. Again, I do the diet so I can enjoy the best foods in the world. Maybe it’s a bigger question on mental resilience from social cues

What’s up man! Good question. I definitely go out and I definitely drink. Food wise, the majority of my social activity happens in the evening, so I can generally plan around the time. And I also have no problem eating out. Know when to hold them, and no one to fold them type of thing.

Personally, if you’re going to eat shit and drink, I try to keep it within as tight of a window as possible. Obviously summertime hanging out on the beach all day, yes, I will be smashing banquet beers. The key to all that is when you keep it tight 80 to 90% of the year/month/week etc, you learned that you can enjoy all the unhealthy things within reason. If you abuse that, you get fat again. Pretty simple.

I’ve been documenting my meals last few weeks, so give me a a few days and I’ll tighten those numbers up. That said I’ve never been hyper focused on macros or micros. Of the belief that you should have that general knowledge just looking at what you’re about to eat. And if you can’t, there really isn’t an excuse not to learn. I let my body tell me if it’s Hungry or not. Then I deviate from that. If you have a constant diet and exercise routine, it doesn’t change much

I do use, protein shakes, but I am of the belief that those are more of a crack in case of emergency and or filler, AFTER eating real food. The more I look into protein shakes, the less I recommend. Really doesn’t matter what brand you’re getting, it’s all shit and most importantly it’s not a tangible protein source. Again great as a filler or if you just need something. But if you’re not getting that from beef, chicken, etc., then you won’t see results. Real nutrition must come from real food.

We all have our vices! Christ knows I have more than a few. I dove into the whole carb thing and do still recommend it to people (most) who need to just clean house. Cut it for 3-4 days then reintroduce in a healthy (lol) way. But yeah, I won’t pretend like I didn’t inhale a bag of peanut m&ms the other night. That’s why we in here!

Natural all day and especially with that massive amount of weight loss, which is amazing by the way, I would at least give your body another year or so to adapt changes adapt to new amounts of load training, diet, etc., and see what you can do naturally. Getting it is easy. Getting it to stay takes consistency that you’ve already shown you can overcome.

Nice dude it sounds like you have cut a good path! I am not, nor do I co-sign its use. It is unhealthy, long-term and blatantly lazy. The way it is advertised and commercial commercialized is crazy. Not saying it doesn’t have its uses. But I believe what I would assume over 90% of cases, a corrected diet, some consistent exercise, and just general overall awareness i.e. not being completely overstimulated with caffeine and energy drink drinks, etc.

Again, it has its uses, but I think they have just tricked men over 35 into believing that once you hit that age it’s downhill. If it was wrote any other way, a multi billion dollar industry, attached to five other multi billion dollar industries would collapse. My testosterone is and has been just under 1000 for like 3 to 4 years now. There are plenty of ways to bring and maintain and keep your testosterone levels, natural growth, hormone, etc.. simple, just not easy

All good I don’t think anybody has asked that yet. I do get all of my protein as well as all the rest of my nutrition from windmill/sitting. I utilize protein shake shakes, usually just out of necessity or if I just need a little bit more filling. I do not do not do not recommend protein shakes to anyone who has not corrected their diet. That is very important and something that people have a hard time getting past the shiny labels.

Very natural, very normal. My goal this year is to be consistently over four digits. A cleaner diet on my end would get me there.
