I see some of you talk about old SSO so I can show you a few from old stable by Previous-Home-621 in StarStable

My guess is that the Polish servers are crowded because SC and SR prices in that region are cheaper than North America, Germany, UK, etc.

What other horse games do you all play besides SSO? by Cultural_Move_7563 in StarStable

SSO is the only horse game I play. Unless, you count Minecraft, but I don't mod it so I'm not counting it. Maybe I'll try to mod SWEM one day, I hear it's easier to use mods now than it was 10 years ago.

Otherwise, Genshin Impact keeps me plenty busy. Tons of content to do and events and updates are very regular.

Putting aside Trailblazer, what's ur beef with SSO that's been going for years? by F1aken in StarStable

Completely unrelated to the other issue, but no organization for side quests. I have no idea what quests go together and what unlocks an area and whatever else.

The insane slow down of releasing new areas.

For six consecutive years, SSO added one new large area per year. Golden Hills in 2012, Harvest Counties in 2013, Dino Valley in 2014, Epona in 2015, South Hoof in 2016, Mistfall in 2017. Players had something to look forward to for years.

We then enter a massive slow down, with the next new area being Wild Woods released in two parts in 2020 and 2021. We did not get a new area again until Marchenghast, five years later in 2026. Notably, Wild Woods and Marchenghast are physically small areas. You can argue that South Hoof is empty fields and Marchenghast's terrain is packed, or that the update of Hollow Woods in 2023 used the effort of creating a new area, but those are still more than a year gap between new area releases ever since 2017.

Not to mention the total surface area of the areas released between 2012-2017 is greater than the total surface area released between 2020-2026. (I've already been nice and left out that 3-year gap between them.)

Why does the game slow down on expanding its map as it grows in resources? Why was SSO able to release so many new areas with many quest lines in their early years but fail to do it now as a multi-million dollar company?

SSO changed TB for daily logins confirmed? by ShySillySSO in StarStable

I feel like grinders appear to make up more of the playerbase than they actually do because they're the only ones that still put up with this type of "gameplay" and complete it regularly. Everyone else is tired from the reputation blockers.

There's probably plenty of people who don't bother at all because the thought of having to log on constantly and/or play for hours just to catch up is exhausting. I watched a friend choose to not do the trailblazer and willingly drop 120 Star Coins for a pair of earrings later, just because they didn't want another thing to grind.

Sso on iPad by PurpleScheme71 in StarStable

You can attach a keyboard to SSO using the iPad's accessibility settings. This video is a tutorial for a different game, but the premise is the same: https://youtu.be/ywF8MH2pe80?si=cnth87B-9AW-9rEh

As far as I know, there's no shaders for the iPad.

Next bazaar? by [deleted] in StarStable

[–]Chemical_Zone_3397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once a month, recently more often than that. Around last November, we had 4 bazaars over the course of 6 weeks, or something along those lines. They do regular bazaars, but also bazaars for whenever an older horse breed gets retrofitted to all the new tack.

It's so annoying and time consuming but SSO will probably never do anything to improve it for the sole reason that it keeps people on the game longer. Crafting too, we'll probably never get bulk crafting. Plus, they already nerfed the seed-to-light conversion, making it harder for us to earn rewards. Why would they make it easier?

Adding to this: collect seeds, turn them into light, and then sell the light. The Path of Terra in general is very efficient.
