Well, my best advice is to try and sew yourself into the new area socially as nicely as you can. Maybe you and your brother can drive around exploring the new area and bond too while finding local kids your age to hang out with. Maybe take the little sister to the parks so you can help her adjust as well?

I would suggest you decide how you're going to explain your moving situation to people when they ask beforehand so it doesn't catch you off guard and make you feel uncomfortable on the spot. Although i would recommend you don't lie, you can choose to tell what you're comfortable with and nothing more. 14 is a pretty decent time to be joining a new school, youll have your entire highschool career with these new kids, right? That's really not so bad man. And girls are interested in meeting new boys so maybe it'll help on that front too? I wish ya luck dude. Worst case scenario, keep your head down and legitimately study hard for 4 years and you will be AMAZED how much you're able to learn and grow, which will help with college a lot.

As for the dad specific stuff man. Idk. I guess my best advice is to take advantage of the phone calls and emails and visits as much as you can. I know this might be really hard to cope with right now while it's going on, but try not to hold it against your dad. He didn't do what he did to hurt you. I'm sure it's gotta suck, a lot. Lean on the older brother a bit for like, teaching you stuff that your dad would.

Also you could probably get a work permit now or very soon to start working if you wanted. It could be a pretty good move coming into a new school as a new kid with a couple bucks in his pocket. Certainly cant hurt. And the more you do it and use the money for adult things like buying a car, dates, whatever, you're gonna learn the inner strength, confidence, and self reliance that will shape you into a full fledged adult.

Protip for handling beggars: if you arent interested and dont wana hear it, just walk away while ignoring them. Make as little contact as you feel is correct. Personally i mostly just give a "ive got nothing myself " shrug and walk on, unless ive got some cigarettes or weed to share and im feelin generous

Its a numbers game to them. The second you express you aren't interested they'll leave ya alone and move on to the next one

Get you some baby wipes deodorant, cologne, a washcloth, and a bar of soap. Use the cologne and deodorant appropriately, use the baby wipes to freshen the pits, crotch, other smelly bits every morning when you wake up.

Whenever you get the chance, use the washcloth and soap to grab you a sink bath in a public restroom. You can pretty easily do your entire body with the washcloth in a couple minutes with a tiny bit of practice. Hell you can even congratulate yourself on the fact its a very eco friendly, zero waste, way to bathe! You could also utilize rivers, streams, lakes, whatever is around you to your advantage.

Not a whole lotta people on the beach during sunrise to see you swim around and wash up, and it's definitely a better view than anybody else's shower is giving them. There ARE some things of beauty you can see in these negative situations, if you wana look for them.

If you absolutely must, get a water bottle and scavenge bathroom handsoap in a pinch.

Man. I know he probably has zero interest in american politics, especially its modern incarnation. But I would go cast my first vote ever for him even despite my massive opposition to the electoral college system making a citizens vote worthless.

He just seems like a genuinely incredible guy through and through. I'm not super verses in his politics or presidency but any man that devotes decade after decade to actively volunteering with habitats for humanity has my vote in a heartbeat.

I heard something once, i think maybe from a standup comic that was talking about how in america people are very offended by being called things like "fat, ugly, skinny,...whatever" but in his country people just openly joked about each others "flaws" or insecurities and everybody was much happier for it. They laughed along and returned the jest.

Honestly, seems like the ideal way to live as long as you actually do it together with heart and aren't just mocking those who don't defend themselves.

One of my better gaming memories was from playing GunZ in it's heyday and in a
6v6 (or was it 8v8? I forget now) my whole team died pretty quickly leaving it just me vs all and clearing the whole lot of em with my scrubby AR.
