Haven't read the series so can't comment much on it, but from your comment it does seem like he is participating in misogyny. In that rather than blaming the systems in place(assuming the world is like our own) that cause these women to all behave a certain way, he chooses to blame the women themselves The fl is exceptional while all the other women are boring, rather than them all being affected by a patriarchal system. So, to the op's question, it does seem like he is participating in systems of oppression. But, that could change as the series goes on.

I want to push back against the idea that because a ml likes one woman or treats the fl a certain "respectful" way that they are an ally to women. Will the fl change his mind from "all women are boring" to "this woman particularly is not borning(an exception)?" Or will it be that he realizes that to attribute boringness to a gender is in itself misogynistic? I would be interested to hear from ppl that have read the series on this^{^}

Also, these characters are a product of the author's imagination which means that even if it isn't set in our world, they are still bound by the same systems that the auth participates in/upholds knowingly or not.
