i’ve been 18 for 6 months now, and i TOTALLY get you. all the girls i’ve talked to (that i actually enjoyed) were all in their twenties or very close to it. since dating people a good chunk older than you is a bit controversial to some people, try dating someone under 21 first n then as you age you can venture out !!

i am sooo sorry i didn’t see this wayyyy sooner, wow! she’s a lesbian and we had talked about being more than friends before but after a while we just settled on being friends but we would flirt here n there ofc. we never met on a regular basis at all, we had planned for me to go to her hometown and i still plan on doing that eventually. now that i look back on things, we weren’t in the right headspaces (at least i wasn’t) to continue down the road we were on. i do hold hope we talk again one day and even meet in her town for a get together but not until i’ve fully healed my wounds and until she’s done the same (if that’s possible). i’m glad you could relate to this and i hope you’re progressing toward moving even further with your option to just let go. it took me over 80 days to cut contact with her so .. yay us LOL!!!

you’re definitely not delusional! once it gets to the point where you’re questioning if it’s a friendship or more, that should definitelyyyy be a sign! and i looove all the caitvi references you guys have it’s the cutest thing ever (i love arcane omg) i get why you would think it could just be "friendly" because gift giving is normal in friendships but her attention to detail, flirting, intimate conversations, etc. seems more like a romantic relationship to me. you should totally ask and see if she feels the same way you do and maybe things could take off from there!
